The worst beds weve slept on in our entire time in Thailand. Cute little hostel with lovely green gardens. Pool area is nice but the pool is very cold. Room is very basic with a standing fan. Bed also has a mozzie net which saved us putting ours up. The door didnt really shut properly and no safe so we felt very worried for our belongings when we went out. Shower and toilet area although not shared, but you can hear everything your neighbours are up to. No privacy. Very cheap at 300 baht a night for a double room though. The bed just was truly awful! Like lying on rocks and it slanted into the middle.

We stayed here for 2 nights in Feb 2019 after spending a week and a half in Laos. We didn't really know what to expect as it was the cheapest place of our entire trip and it even had a pool. We were pleasantly surprised when we discovered the pool was very nice and clean. As expected, the rooms were pretty basic with thin walls & hard beds, but they were nice enough and mosquito nets were provided. The grounds were nice for walking through with trees, plants, benches, etc. and this was a nice place to relax. Lots of restaurants, etc. within walking distance and we even found a coin washing machine down the road to wash our clothes. Even the bus station was walkable when we caught our bus to the Chiang Rai airport. Very nice place for the price.

The hotel was in a great location just off the Main Street in Chiang Khong and near the 7/11, restaurants and the Mekong. Staff were friendly and helpful with WiFi and booking a transfer to the border. We were disappointed however as we booked the hotel for 2 nights especially to use the pool and have a rest before crossing the border only to find out when we arrived that the pool was closed and out of use. Staff were apologetic but it was a real shame as it’s the main reason we booked the hotel. In the end we paid to go to a hotel up the road and use their pool. The rooms were wooden cabin style which was cute and were clean and tidy. We were given fresh towels and toilet roll on each day of our stay. The room also had a mosquito net which was useful. The bed however was very hard and uncomfortable as the mattress had no give. As it is a wooden cabin there are lots of gaps in the walls meaning that you can hear everything from the neighbours which means that there is not much privacy. The setting is picturesque and overall we enjoyed our stay. The main thing that made us give it 3 stars was the lack of advertised pool and hard mattress.

I stayed here one night before passing the border with Laos during my GAdventures tour. The guesthouse is nice but the room was very dark as not every light worked. The bathroom is a bit of a mess as the toilet and shower are too close to each other and there was water everywhere very quickly. The walls are very very thin and you can follow the whole discussion happening next room ... Finally the door closes with a lock and not very handy at night while there is not a lot of outside light ...

Stayed here with part of g adventures tour. It's nasty. The rooms smell horrible! The rooms are so dated and old. The plugs are loose fitting in the rooms making it hard to use. The shower is not overly warm. Floors are concrete. Aircon doesn't work. the smell in the room smells like a sewage tank.
