In was here in November 2016 for a two day training on safe obstetrics. The food, the staff, ambience and cleanliness are above average but can be improved. Sleep quality will depend on the room you take. The block facing the busy KANU Street should be avoided at all costs if you are a light sleeper. These street is busy...

I had hoped that Jumuia would live up to its name, but oh no! I have visited one of their other branches and it was OK for the price I paid. They have very good customer service. The location of this hotel is quite out of town which you really need cos of the noise of the 'boda boda'-motor bikes...

My clients arrived intime for lunch which was properly prepared, the rooms were clean and staffs friendly. with its location near Lake Nakuru National Park, we did not have a hustle in getting to the gate. i will send clients to this hotel over and over.

Clean rooms, good food, quiet friendly setting. Minutes away from downtown Nakuru or the Lake Nakuru National Park. Felt very safe travelling with an 11 year old. Good service all around but some of the waiters struggle with the concept of bringing a glass of ice with a beverage even when asked.

Stayed 6 nights here with a mission group while working in the slums of Kaptembwe during the day, so returning "home" to this place was very welcoming & relaxing. Breakfasts & dinners each day were excellent & of the same quality as 4 star hotels. Even a chef to fix your eggs any way you want them in the morning,...

I have stayed here twice now and its very quiet and serene which is appropriate as we have a small baby. The staff are friendly and do their best to make once stay comfortable. their food is also good.

The rooms are very plain, but adequate. We had hot water the one night we stayed there. We weren't impressed with the mosquito nets, so we used our own. The grounds are very nice and the staff was accomodating. The restaurant was very nice and I actually enjoyed the food. They were nice enough to give us breakfast early so...

We travel to Nakuru several times a year for both business and holiday. I keep coming back here because of the great value. Although you will not find a great amount of luxury here, you will get a clean room, hot water shower, and a wonderful buffet breakfast for a very reasonable price. The down side is that the pillows...

Stayed here overnight to visit Lake Nakuru National Park. Had heard that good budget lodging is difficult to find in Nakuru and settled on Jumuia from a recommendation. Rooms were clean and mosquito nets are large, which was important as there were many mosquitoes there! The sheets and bedding were clean and appeared fairly new, so they may have been...

I was concerned when I read the reviews about this hotel. The hotel was suggested to us by fellow missionaries so we took a chance. So glad it turned out well. The 8 of us stayed for about $50 more than a local guest house wanted for 2 of us!!!!!! We will stay here again in July with another mission...
