We have lived in Melaque during the winter for 8 years and had a one week stay at the this hotel on one occasion. We stayed at the Bungalows part of the hotel and loved it. Mind you it has been changed from a sandy shady beach front to having a pool and looks great. We have been in other... More

Been traveling in Mexico for 30 yrs. my wife and I discover this place and have been going there ever scents, great people , warm and friendly, English spoken and very accommodating, on site restaurant, right on the beach, 9 a.m. come and swim with others for a morning swim in the ocean. No longer the best kept secret in Mexico.

Stayed at Laguna many times and enjoyed the place but beware that the Easter holiday period is extremely busy and the place is packed with tour groups. It was so noisy and busy that we moved to another hotel to escape. Jan and Feb are low season and as a result are very quiet. The beach is beautifull but be... More

Our group thought we would walk down to Laguna del Tule for their happy hour and to watch the giant waves crash against the shore. After securing a table surf side we placed our order. My pina colada was wonderful, but my friends Margarita was terrible. So bad she could not drink it. We did enjoy the surf and everyone... More

We arrive here on December 6 of 2015. I looked okay so we agreed to stay for a month. Today is February 8! I don't tow a vehicle and the closeness of the little town and the friendly people is magnetic. Each time I see the leaving date looming, I go for more time. [You can do that when you... More

On one particular vacation the maid stole our liquor, medical supplies and baby food. We contacted the owner of the hotel (Ms. Blanca Tejeda) and she in turn contacted her.. she admitted she stole the items.. I asked her to return the prescription medication as it was for my children. She never returned any of it., and there was one... More

We thought about staying at this place and in the end I'm glad we didn't. We jokingly referred to the place as "Disneyland". It is big, touristy, and the closest slice of 'Spring Break' that one may see in Melaque. Needless to say, that's not our scene. We were glad to stay closer to the town center in a more... More

My husband and I were in Melaque for 4 weeks. We were interested in viewing some properties for a future visit. We walked into a lovely pool area and some very nice people who were staying there. We sat down at the restaurant for breakfast. We were the only ones there. Our waiter(who spoke very good English)was the worst ever.... More

I haven't stayed in the hotel, but I've visited the bar a couple of times for drinks. The whole property is beautiful in a bizarre kind of way - so grand, I can't imagine how long it takes them to paint the buildings. Everything is well maintained, and extremely clean. The margaritas are delicious, and the location of the bar... More

We we're not staying at the hotel but dropped by to visit friends. We had a few drinks at the swim-up bar. They had all day 2 for 1 on the mixed drinks. My Mohito was excellent! We had a dip in the pool and then went over to the adjoining restaurant for lunch. The restaurant is open to the... More
