If the urge to escape strikes you, visit Fort Tiracol Heritage Hotel. Once an armed fortress that belonged to the Portuguese, Fort Tiracol is now content to spend the rest of its days on a cliff enjoying the kaleidoscopic view of the Arabian Sea and the spectacular estuary of the Tiracol River. It exists in its own space and time on the northern most tip of Goa. The beaches offer you a wonderful respite from the buzz of the city and the hectic life. Fort Tiracol Resort in Goa is a luxury heritage boutique hotel which offers premium amenities to the travel enthusiasts. Expect unmatched beautiful scenery with the view of the Arabian Sea at bay and interiors which are reminiscent of Portuguese culture.

Be it the drive, be it the serene view and not to forget a warm welcome by the staff☺️ All was worth it.. Fort Tiracol is a place with a mesmerising view, extremely calm, scrumptious food and historical too..The room was spic and span along with all the basic facilities. The staff was very courteous specially the manager Mr. Pawan Dhaliwal is a very impressive and knowledgeable person who took us to an unforgettable heritage walk.. A warm thanks to a noble soul Mr. Rohit who always carries a big smile on his face.He helped us selflessly when we lost our way at night. I would like to visit this place every year🤗😊

Being an Architect I always love staying in old heritage properties and the experience of staying in Tiracol Fort over a week end was awesome. The Sunday morning church music and sound of the sea waves reminds of the quaint Goan village. Pawan and his team was very hospitable. Experience was not of staying in a hotel but being part of a history and being part of Tiracol village life.

This hotel is located on the northern most tip of Goa. We enjoyed a scenic ferry ride to get here. One can also get here by road. It was truly a heritage experience as they have maintained the Portuguese fort very well. There is a huge church in the property. The rooms are spacious and have magnificent views of the ocean. The manager took us for a nice short heritage walk along the coast and even took us for an unforgettable yoga session on the beach. Food was great and so were the cocktails. Some of the freshest coconut water is served here. I highly recommend this hotel for a leisure trip of a few days at least. You might even spot celebrities hanging around sometimes.

The food was absolutely amazing & chef took note to customise the food as our requirement. The hotel perched on top of a hill is a actual fort which was under the Portuguese .The hotel is well equipped with comfortable rooms, great beds and air-conditioning. Some rooms have bigger balconies than others.5he restaurant has expansive views of the arabia sea serving excellent food and great cocktails with a great proactive chef.Dolphins can be spotted while at the restaurant .There is a.chapel inside the fort too.

Stayed at this beautiful property for 02 nights. It is a old fort converted into a hotel but still retaining the old world charm and the heritage aspect of it. The rooms are very comfortable with antique furniture but all modern facility. A very quiet and serene place with a fantastic view of the sea ( ketty beach ) and very well connected at the same time isolated from crowd unlike most of the properties in Goa. It is must visit place. The food quality, the staff are all very good. Will again visit this property whenever a opportunity is available.

We stayed here for 3 nights. The place is on top of a hill and is right next to the Tiracol river. The views from the rooms as well as from the restaurants is amazing. There are a total of 7 seven rooms - each named after a day of the week. One can reach the hotel in two ways. One is to drive up to the "Keri" ferry point across the river and then take the government ferry to the "Terekhol" ferry point. The ferry point on the Tiracol side is 1.5kms from the hotel. The hotel has a "on request" pickup and drop service to the ferry point. The ferry service is free for pedestrians and costs a nominal fee if a car has to be carried over. The ferry can hold 4 cars and a number of 2 wheelers. The other option is to take the road bridge (over the Tiracol river) - which is an extra 15-20 mins drive. The only problem is that this passes through the state of Maharashtra and one needs a road permit if you are using a commercial vehicle (with a yellow and black number plate). For travelling into Goa, I would recommend a self driven car, which the hotel arranges for at a decent price. The food is average to good. The breakfast is a very standard fare, which is served at most hotels. The lunch / dinner menu is a mix of Indian, Continental and Chinese and is also limited. The standard rooms are slightly small, but has an attached space for storage etc. The bathrooms are really nice and spacious. Overall, the place is very well kept and clean. The staff is very nice and caring. They understand your needs very well and cater to what is needed. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit.
