I walked the West Highland Way, East Highland Way and Speyside Way over three weeks in the summer of 2012. B&Bs I stayed in were very good and hospitable, but Speybank was outstanding thanks to home made cakes and cookies, which after a day's walk just hit the spot. As did the excellent jams and pancakes for breakfast. This place... More

This was more than the usual B&B; it was a little slice of home. Peter and Geraldine made us feel very welcome and her fresh baked biscuits in the room every day were a real treat. The room was large and comfortable and the ensuite bath was good sized and nicely decorated. We had heard that the best way to... More

We stayed one night whilst walking the Speysideway Way. We could not have made more welcome. Tea and homemade cake was just what we needed on arrival. Super comfy bed and superb shower. The breakfast was first class. Even helped collect and move on our baggage. Highly recommend this place.

Stayed for two nights while whisky tasting, and were sad to leave. Our room was comfortable, clean, and private. We also found the book of local information in the room to be very useful. But the highlight of staying at this B&B was our hostess. In addition to creating marvelous breakfasts (and great coffee, too!), Geraldine was a very warm... More

Stayed for 2 nights when walking the Speyside Way. This is the most comfortable B&B I have ever stayed in. We were made very welcome with tea and coffee making facilities in the lounge as well as in our rooms, accompanied by lovely home baking. After a days walking this was much appreciated. The rooms were really nice, great shower,... More

I spent six nights at Speybank during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival. I first tried to get into Craigellachie Hotel which was booked up for that week many months ago. My friends suggested the Highlander Inn, who in turn, recommended Speybank. That was a lucky break. When I first called Speybank, Peter was not sure whether they had a... More

Stayed one night whilst walking the Speyside Way. Extremely impressed with the standard and attention to detail. Geraldine and Peter have left no stone unturned - they have thought of everything from homemade cakes, lovely shower gel, hand soap etc in the ensuite, to local maps and information on walks and places to visit. Geraldine is an excellent cook and... More

My husband, son and I have been traveling through the UK for almost 3 weeks. We've been staying at B&B's, during April, when reservations are not mandatory. None of the other B&B's we've stayed at came close to the high quality experience we've had at Speybank Bed and Breakfast, although most were more expensive. The room, lounge, food and hosts... My friends and I had just walked up, muddy and tired after a 14 mile hike with our 15-20kg rucksacks desperate not to camp in our wet tents and were absolutely delighted with the welcome Peter and Geraldine gave us. Peter was also helpful in trying to find a place for our 2 extra group members to stay as they... More
