Lovely place - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - food was excellent especially if you wanted food with a Scottish twist or flavour. The location on the banks of the Spey are more than impressive and it's a fantastic base for walking in all directions - will definitely visit again

We were not in the main hotel, so your experience might differ. However, we stayed in the rooms located across the street. They are very tired in appearance, and there is a strong musty smell. You share a toilet and a bathroom with the other lodgers. The location is great if you wish to stay in Craigellachie. And you are... More

My wife & I stayed here for just one night on a motorcycle tour of Scotland specifically to experience the local whisky culture. We were definitely not disappointed. We had messed the hotel about, having to cancel other rooms because of our friends having to pull out of the trip. We were still, however, greeted friendly & welcoming. Our room... More

This is only a review on the food as we didn't make use of their Inn. So, we stumbled upon this place towards the end of our stay in Scotland. We enjoyed it so much we ate here again on the last night of our stay. The place can get very busy, so it might be worth reserving a table.... More

I has Haggis, Neeps & Tatties and it was surprisingly delicious (although I did have some nasty heartburn later). Also had a flight of Scotch and it was fantastic - what a Scotch selection - I have never seen anything like it (but I don't get out much) if you are in the area check it out!

We stayed here at the suggestion of some friends who had stayed here a few months ago. Excellent recommendation. The staff are personable and welcoming and really make you feel at home. We stayed in the "houses" next to the highlander inn and were very pleased with our room. Our room was spacious and very homey. Only complaint was that... More

The second night proper of our Speyside trip. The Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The service is great and friendly and our choice of food, scallops followed by chicken breasts cooked with haggis in a whisky sauce was excellent. As for the whisky, SUPERB

We were booked in here by Contours while walking the Speyside Way and it was right on the trail. Our room was quite small with slightly tired decor and the ensuite was a bit mouldy as it did not have an outside window. We enjoyed a nice evening meal here and a very nice breakfast. The whisky bar was extremely... More

I found Billy and his staff to be very accommodating. In addition, the bar and restaurant downstairs were delightful. However, I had many problems with their showers and even found the spare roll of toilet paper appeared to contain feces stains on it. Between all of that and the fact that I couldn't crack my windows and the mattress was... More

Stayed here 5 days in may with a friend. It was great as starting point for exploring the nearby distilleries and nature. The staff is friendly and the bar is cosy - with more than 400 whiskies to choose from. Craigellachie is a very small town and even though the bus stop (only few busses a day) is just a... More
