While traveling through Scotland we stopped at this hotel for 1 night. We have several places and this is bar far my least favorite. It was recently redone to the place is clean and well maintained. The cost of the room was 180 pounds which was overpriced for the room. They told us our twin room was on the garden...

Central location for visiting Distilleries and cooperage; preferred to Dufftown. Very good restaurant with an alternative nearby. Enjoyed breakfast variety. Staff very helpful. Visit to Glenfiddich and downtown Dufftown within 6 - 7.5 km along good walking path. Newly refurbished whisky tasting room has wide variety, Willing to provide multiple drams of whiskey at once (at full price) for inter...

I stayed here recently on a business trip and was really really impressed. The decor, the service, the food, all were first class and a really pleasant experience all round. Even the 'house dog' was very cute!! I was in a room downstairs at the back which didn't sound too promising but actually was really well appointed and was very...

The staff are the absolute lifeblood of this hotel. The new whiskey bar is staffed by the knowledgable, personable, beautiful, and kind Lindsey who made our whole trip worthwhile. The hotel has been recently refurbished, the rooms and general decor are very good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and the selection of whiskey second to none. Normally...

Oh this was SUCH a disappointment. The interior designer is at work and the whole place is getting 'done up' so we have actually forgiven them a lot BUT the barman doesn't seem to speak English and that is a huge difficulty. We ordered 3 half pints ONE of which was half the strength of the other two. They got...

This hotel was probably my favorite of all the places we stayed. We booked for two nights. It was clean, quiet, modern and stunning, while maintaining and old charm. Of course, my favorite was the resident pup, Alfie! The Copper Dog had a great atmosphere with a great acoustical guitarist and food to match. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
