Visited here as we had our dogs with us and we had heard they were dog friendly. We were unsure when we pulled up as the hotel looks quite spectacular and we didn't know if dogs were allowed inside. We asked before we went in but there was no problem. The staff were very friendly, one even showing me the...

Been a couple of years since I stayed here and I must say the place is looking much better! Excellent renovations of rooms to high standard. The new whisky bar is amazing, doing proper justice to the enormous range of whiskies present. Excellent breakast, with good fresh buffet as well as cooked breakfast. Ate in the Copper Dog restaurant one...

A group of friends stayed for a long weekend in this delightful and welcoming hotel. It managed to combine luxury with a warm homely feel through exquisite attention to detail. The charming and friendly staff were always on hand with help and advice; the rooms were well decorated using local fabrics which added warmth and comfort; the food was delicious...

Super venue for a group with great public rooms able to accommodate our party. Staff are very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was fine and the heating was controllable from the thermostat. Bathroom was great and the bedroom was fine. Breakfast menu and service were both outstanding as were the dinners we took in the Copper...

Just back from a 2 night stay. Refurbishment is great and the hotel has a relaxed but luxury feel. Breakfast is first class and Copper Dog bar is a brilliant place to chill out. Food is good but could be more choice on the menu. Staff are great too and nice friendly vibe. Well worth a visit.

After the recent refurbishment this old coaching hotel has taken a big new breath and is the most comfortable hotel I've had the pleasure of staying in the last few months. Highland hospitality blends style and warm and generous service. Perfect attention to detail at every level, from fresh flowers, comfortable tweeds, flickering fires and piles of old books to...

We stayed for just one night in a room overlooking the Spey and the telford Bridge on a dinner, bed and breakfast rate. Excellent value. The hotel staff are exceptionally friendly and create a very relaxing but laid back vibe. I stayed here many years ago before the renovations and without a doubt the hotel has been transformed from top...

The decor of the hotel is beautiful but there are too many major drawbacks that the hotel needs to sort ASAP. 1. Wifi signal is shocking and the staff don't seem to care. This has been the same since it re-opened when we were told that better wifi was coming. This hasn't happened. 2. The standard of cleaning is variable....

My wife and I had a nice enough meal here. However, I would caution prospective diners not to expect an upmarket dining room - basically it's just a pub with food. Whisky Bar upstairs is nice if a bit lacking in character. The fabulous wee whisky bar the hotel used to have is long gone. Sad.

Having been return visitors here over the years we were pleased to see the recent refurb has retained the quirks of the original hotel whilst giving it the touch of luxury it is so suited to. Arrived on a snowy afternoon and settled into the Copper Dog for lunch, lovely staff, food and wine After lunch we checked in and...
