Fantastic food, great service, lovely ambience ! A great menu - plenty of choice for all! Scallops and mussels were cooked to perfection A great place to eat but you will need to book in advance. Menu needs to be a bit clearer as we ordered side options when they were not necessary - included with meal !

This is a gem of a hotel in the highlands, ideal for a weekend break. We have stayed there three times now and each time it has surpassed our previous visit. The staff are first class, particularly the ladies in reception, the food is terrific and the rooms are finished to a very high standard. We use this hotel as... More

We went to this hotel during our holidays in Scotland as it had been recommended by a friend. We had booked originally via the hotel website and i later on saw online a cheaper offer. I reached out to the hotel staff and I was nicely offered the same room rate. The room was large and nicely decorated. However it... More

What should have been a treat for Sunday lunch, turned out to be very disappointing. The menu looked very tempting, however when told of the roast beef special with all the trimmings my friend and I both opted for the beef. The meals arrived plates groaning with food. On closer inspection the meat consisted of two huge slabs of meat... More

Given the wonderful reviews, we were disappointed. Our meal took forever in the evening, the children were becoming very tired waiting ... The meal was mediocre, over cooked salmon, reheated chips. Our room was adequate, lovely large bathroom. Coffee tray had one large cup, one small, one saucer and no spoon. Breakfast was poor, full English was reheated, my poached... More

Fantastic! Try it for yourself. The copper dog has a great relaxed atmosphere with excellent locally sourced food an drink. One of my favourite restaurants and I've tried a few in my time. A gem in Speyside and ideal for exploring the local area.

Loved everything about this hotel. The copper dog restaurant serves wonderful hearty Scottish meals in a great environment. The downstairs bar was buzzing in the evenings enhanced by live music. The upstairs quaich whisky bar has a mind blowing selection of single malt whisky and expert bar staff to guide your whisky journey. An evening cocktail was included in the... More

Just popped in here for lunch, with really good friends. Spoilt for choice with the menu in the Copper dog. We all chose different dishes, and I had the fish pie ! Well chosen, and I would have it again, and again, and again. We were with a local butcher and also raved about the restaurant.

First trip to Speyside, and this hotel was a perfect introduction. Best points: the fabulous bed; the whisky bar and its manager, Lyndsey; the beer selection in the Copper Dog Bar. Staff can be stretched at peak times when the hotel is full, as it was on our trip, but they remained unfailingly helpful and cheery. Will most definitely stay... More
