Lovely clean rooms, spacious bar, ample parking, good breakfast assortment and only a short taxi ride from the main shopping complex and town would recommend and definitely will visit again soon well worth the money.

Stayed for a weekend as part of a group and stayed an extra night. I needed a disabled room which was very good with sufficient room to accomodate a mobility scooter. The dining was buffet style with an excellent choice of meals, salads, deserts etc.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 10 years. The location is great if you enjoy walking along the Ridgeway and exploring little villages but you definitely need a car to get to it and to get out and about. The hotel is large and used as a conference centre and wedding venue, so it is...

I stayed here for a course through my work, rooms are pretty good and facilities are as well. The location is pretty quiet and adjoining a housing estate, my satnav took me the wrong way into the entrance but that was soon sorted. Not a bad place to stay but very business orientated IMO.

Weekend with friends, as header, nice and quiet, had superior rooms which had very comfortable beds, place is lovely but a bit out of the way, did not affect our stay though. We have decided to return in October.

Firstly, don't let me put you off staying at this conference centre, but bear in mind that is what it's all set up for. The staff are very friendly, especially in the restaurant, thanks to Natalie and Dan and the guy behind the bar ( sorry didn't get your name). The rooms ( especially the superior) are nicely laid out,...

When we first arrived for out two nights stay our first impressions for the setting were wonderful. After that, most things went downhill! At reception, we went to a receptionist who was free and with a very abrupt retort she told us to see her colleague who was dealing with someone else at the time. She however, was very charming...

We stayed here in May 2016 as part of a Travelzoo deal and as it was so good we thought we would go back. It was as good as last time. Very good large and clean rooms with good facilities. Dinner menu was a little limited but still very good as was the breakfast. Only slight hiccup was that we...

My reason for coming to the Alexandra was for business. We used the Alexandra suite for training purposes. It was lovely with table cloths, water and glasses on tables. There was also a projector. We had lunch both the first and second day. Was very nice but the second day there was significantly less food on offer. In regards to...

The rooms are modern and very well equipped, with hair dryer desk iron and board. Restaurant was bad. We had a tanle booked for 7.30which had been pre chosen from the menu in the afternoon. We actually got the meal at 8.45pm. It was not very nice and I had gone past the point of caring when it arrived. Expense...
