In general the Hotel is clean, rooms well serviced, staff are friendly and its comfortably an above average three star hotel. The Hotel does not have any double beds only twins put together, in spite of what is advertised. Air conditioning is charged at € 7 per night except during July-August when it is included. Internet WiFi is available in the recption area only and charges start at €3/30mins. (You are better off going to Vodaphone on 42 AMERIKIS str and buying at 15 day, 2GB local internet sim-card for €20)
On the all-inclusive there are a few things that do not really meet the expectations of travellers used to 3-star (or above) offerings. Coffee is available for breakfast and dinner (not lunch) in the main building. The pool-bar DOES NOT SERVICE all-inclusive guests free of charge between 12-14:30 (lunch is served between 12:30-14:30). Between 17:30 and 18:30 (dinner between 18:30-20:30) there is NO SERVICE AVAILABLE what so ever. I guess OK if you know about it and don't have your mind set on lunching poolside in your swimsuits but difficult to wrap your head around otherwise in my view.
In my personal view it is not OK to have a 90min black-out period of service during the day for all-inclusive guests nor to force them away from the pool to the main restaurant for drinks or food for 2.5 hours midday (30mins of which the can not be serviced at all) - but maybe that's only me....?
On the food I would say it is bland. The breakfast buffet is uninspiering with the same basic offering every day. I miss real bacon (crispy or otherwise) instead of the fried slices of ham one often gets in this part of the world. Also, I would also have preferred fresh fruit cut up instead of canned but you don't have to walk away from the breakfast hungary....
Lunch and dinner are much the same, if you enjoy sallad they try to vary the offering somewhat.
There is alway a pasta dish (catering to the young I guess), an abundancy of parmesan available, two meat and one fish dish with variations around the same themes, one of which often is a casserole. Occasionally they offer chicken as well. The common denominator is however that the warm dishes do not stand out particularly in any way. All meat, fish and chicken is overly cooked and very sparingly spiced. The food is by no means dis-tasteful but if you are staying a week or more you might start craving for eating somewhere else.
A few words on beverages: The tap wine in the dining room is watered down (to various extent) and very varied in quality. The white seems a bit more consistant but the red can vary in taste from acceptable to totally non-potable (ie defect - not just of poor quality). Wines are however offered a la carte at dinner and the wine lover would do well paying for their wine instead. The wines at the main bar are of better consistancy and quality, particularly if you see them serve it from a bottle (and not from a box in cupboard). There is an all-inclusive drinks menu that has the no-frills basics, served a bit on the strong (alcohol-wise) side for my taste but surely ok for those who prefer such.
All-in-all I guess that you choose a three star hotel for a reason and have to adjust your expectations accordingly and hadn't it been for the blackouts in servicing, not having full access to the pool bar while it was open and having to pay for air-conditioning I would have been OK with my choice. But I did stack our fridge and we did go out for lunch and dinner during our stay here. Sure were glad that there were great grocery supermarkets right next door!
If you don't mind these quirks - you'll be OK here...

A very good holiday - overall. We enjoyed the nice weather of Rhodes. Staff was OK, poolbar very good and in the cantina (sorry i don't call it restaurant) food was good enough, only the coffee was terrible. bus stop in front of hotel, and for 1.80 euros you get in 6 minutes to Rhodes - a splendid city with a magnificent old town. the visists to the city made our holiday from average to very good, otherwise....

The entrance looking lovely clean. The rooms not so. Food is disgusting, I'm far from a picky rather, but even I struggled as did many others from chatting. It was often cold. Breakfast eggs not cooked properly, ( whites still runny). So much under cooked, fatty meat. Tastes just awful. NO entertainment what so ever, even though hotel website says there is there's nothing. It is Jot in Koskinou, which is a lovely village. Its in the next village Kalithea. Which has a garage opposite. A lidi and 2 restaurants further up. That's it. Nothing there at all. Save your money go somewhere else. Avoid this place.

My wife and I really travel a lot. We usually stay in hotels from 2-4 stars, depending on location (and current budget). We both travelled in more than 20 countries together, seen a lot of resorts, and can really compare.
For our summer holidays we were searching for some family friendly place (our dougter was 1 year old at the time) with AI, near the beach, with good connection to some city. We also asked for a bigger room with enough storage space (for 2 weeks holiday with 1-year older you need it). In ITS Billa reisen (Austria) we were advized to go there.
So, in short...
Rooms: very small, storage space enough for one rucksack of staff, not very clean, some things were falling apart, shabby, in white-gray tone, depressive. Room service not regular (despite announcement of every other day), cleaned inadequately, clean towlels after complaint (after a week).
Food: Buffet acceptable for 3 days, but 14 days... you will eat the same breakfast, food is not well prepeared (same dish is one day too spicy, other day raw, third with ketchup all over it), choce of drinks in AI is limited to 2 sorts of juice (Fanta, Cola), one sort of wine and a beer - as AI guest you will feel as a second class guest (always served last). Snacks consists of same sandwich (one sort of salamy from breakfast), ice cream and pizza. You always have to give you room number when asking for something (AI ring doesn't count), you feel like they count every extra bite of yours.
Personel: except few people in restaurant and one cleaning lady, very unfriendly. Hotel manager is a primitive idiot who will tell you to piss off on every complaint and even ask you to leave if you are not pleased with the "service". Very nice indead.
Ambience: Pool never cleaned, some bugs were swimming in it for more than 10 days. Hotel manager fooed cats in hotel area, cats feel like at home and eneter the rooms on groun level. Complaints (including bringing cats into his office) didn't help. I have found cats sleeping in my bags, bad, even childrens bed almost regulary (advice from personel: "lock the doors and windows and turn on AI" - very nice).
Surrounding: nearest beach is nice, water clean, really close (about 200m), but nobody tells you that you have to cross main road (Greeks don't have a habit to stop to no-one, crossing the street is a lotery), and the nices thing: you share the same beach with biggest army base in this part of Mediteranean(!!). So, view on tankers bringing oil to the base is common view. Next beach belongs to other hotel but is open for anyone. Nice, clean (blue flag), but still - not your hotel. Sun beds are free. Sorounding of the hotel in general very dirty (small industrial zone), nothing in the walk distance (no restaurants, bars, etc. only in neighbour hotel).
So, all together, acceptable if you are 18 looking for only a place to sleep over (bus connection to city of Rhodes regular, about 20 mins. drive) and if you are tired enough not to spot anything else. But there are much cheaper places offering the same "comfort". The same hotel was sold to us as a "family friendly hotel" meaning calm place... but to some kids from Germany it was sold as "party hotel". From the same agency (ITS Billa reisen). Their main complaint was that they can not be at the pool whole night screeming around and drinking (probably including throwing out to the pool).
I will not recommend it to anyone, really.

This hotel is a little gem. If you believe the silly complaints of others then you are seriously missing out !!
We arrived in the early hours to be warmly greeted by the reception staff. We had a long tiring journey and were unable to buy water on the way. The guy on reception was only too happy to provide us with some before we got to our room. FOC.
The room is typically Greek, very simple but spacious, clean, and to our surprise we also had a fridge. A nice touch especially as we were all inclusive and did not expect this. We had a quiet balcony which, as a bonus to us,had a little shade from a tree. This was very welcome on our return every day to sit and drink some water sheltered from the midday sun.
Our air conditioning unit was not working on arrival but as soon as we reported this it was sorted within 10 mins.
Our room was cleaned on a Daily basis and fresh towels whenever we needed them. Nothing was left wanting in the service.
As oppose to previous comments we were not disappointed with the little TV in our room as our intention was not to sit in all holiday and watch it but to go out and explore the area and enjoy the sunshine.
There are not many British people staying in this hotel which meant that it was a more cultured experience overall without English beer and chips and eggs !! And partying until the early hours !
There was however some karaoke and disco entertainment on a couple of evenings if that's what you enjoy. This did not disturb us despite our balcony being opposite the reception/bar area.
The food was brilliant, such a choice of things throughout each mealtime (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and yes for those who wanted it there was a fried breakfast experience and chips on the occasional evening !!
We always enjoyed the dining experience and the staff were super friendly as they were throughout the hotel.
You smile at them, communicate and say please and thank you and you get the same back, it's quite simple really !
The food was excellent and although people tend to panic in a buffet situation, the food never ran out and was not at all dry.
You are in Greece ! so perhaps you should embrace the different offerings rather than complaining. Or alternatively stay somewhere where you can do all things British.
There is a well kept pool area with lovely gardens and a bar area. It was clean and safe for families and quite low key.
This closed later in the evening after the bar had shut but it was easy to pop into the hotel and get your drinks at this point.
The beaches were a short walk away.
The first being down a dusty track but if you can look past this, when you got there it was sandy with beautifully clear water and not busy at all. There was a super bar area which was very well kept and trendy.
The second could be found by walking a little further down the road and through the large Sunwing hotel. Again when you arrive it's just picturesque and perfect. This is a shingle beach one end and gravelly sand the other. There are all water sports available here.
There is a gas station opposite which seemed to upset quite a few people. We did not sit and look at this, through the shrubbery, but looked at each other instead !
The tiny shop on site had a little bit of everything and was majorly handy. The couple who ran this were charming and ended up providing us with drinks for our return trip. FOC.
Smiles and chat get smiles and chat in return even when there is a language barrier.
There are a couple of larger supermarkets in both directions about a 2 min walk away if you prefer to stock up.
If you want to go off and explore there is a bus stop just outside. It's not expensive to get to the next resorts or alternatively you can grab a taxi for the same price and the friendly reception staff are only too happy to arrange this for you.
There was one particularly helpful and smiley lady, We are embarrassed as we cannot remember her name, who pointed things out on the map for us including her favourite traditional Greek restaurant in Rhodes town.
We also found a hidden gem in Rhodes town called Jivino, simply the most romantic, rustic location with superb food and friendly service. Please visit if you can as it's an experience not to be missed.
We did have a bit of a laugh at some of the banal complaints on here as we are not really sure what people expect from a 3 star hotel in quite a rural location.
With amazing technology at our fingertips perhaps next time you choose somewhere it might be best to do your research.
We really wanted to balance out the reviews and give them the credit they deserve.
We would most definitely stay here again, like a shot !!
Thank you for our memorable stay with you.

Awful experience, check out the photos.
We read a few reviews, but it couldn’t be that bad - in fact, oh yes it was. See the pictures.
Staff were rude and unhelpful, huffing and puffing when the receptionist had to show us to our room as we couldn’t find it due to the poor signage.
The room was dirty and had a number of issues - take your own coat hangers, we had 4.
The shower head was mounted close to exposed wiring from a pull cord socket which was hanging out of the wall - so showering was exciting. After 5 days, the socket was fixed and we were told no power was going to it so we wouldn’t be electrocuted - a bonus l guess.
The beds were uncomfortable, luckily we had some painkillers - be sure to stock up before you travel. On day 6, the mattresses were replaced by older stained ones, which offered no more comfort than the originals.
As an added bonus the army of ants patrolling the room was interesting to watch.
The meals were awful, and on one occasion, we found a hair in the food so we ate out. They insisted on the half board guests and all inclusive guests being separated. The quality of the seating area provided for half board guests was inferior to that provided for AI guests. Eating was problematic as you had to time your eating with the movements of other diners as you routinely got knocked about. To add to the ambiance, we had paper place mats while AI travellers had table cloths. l took a towel in and used that as a table cloth, the head waiter had tried to get us to use the paper ones but we kept said towel as a table cloth. Power to the people l say - l suspect l’m off his Christmas card list!
We tried to discuss the issues, but were told by staff that I should just make a complaint or leave the hotel if I didn’t like it.
The Thomas Cook website led us to believe that the hotel near shops, in fact it was near to supermarkets and had a petrol station opposite. Check which path leads to the beach: one leads to the beach, the other is blocked by a military installation with armed guards. I did consider ‘Joining up’ as their accommodation and food was probably better.
Spoke and emailed Thomas Cook, and although we received sympathy, there was no resolution. However, we were offered alternative accommodation with two nights of our sentence remaining, at a further cost of £200!
The holiday was a total waste of money, we got home totally shattered and aching from the lack of sleep. Keep away from this hotel.

I was on vacation with my girlfriend for about 1 week. Everything was perfect. I tried to look for quiet accomodation because I don't like big resorts with many people around.
Hotel doesn't have night life. There was no daily evening programs only one "disco" and "karaoke" night but bar ends on 22:30. But for these actions you may walk or take taxi/bus to pubs nearby.

I stayed with my friend for a week from 29 July to 5 August 2014 and we were both pleasantly surprised, we definitely got more than what we expected from a *** hotel.
Reception - really helpful ladies, speak very good English, are willing to deal with problems quickly, efficiently (air conditioning didn't work the first night, the next morning everything was OK)
Staff - there are a lot of foreigners working in the restaurant / bar / pool bar, which could make the communication easier (especially for Slavic tourists), all very helpful, smiling all the time
Food - that was the biggest surprise (I have the comparison with a 4-star hotel in Crete last year). We had all inclusive package, which meant we had three meals a day (buffet) and drinks at the pool bar / hotel bar in the evening. It's possible to get a lunch bag if you go on a day trip. Salads, tzatziky, etc the same every day, but main courses different, there's never lack of anything, the staff supply food all through the meal times. Delicious cakes :) What's more the staff keep the tables sort of clean and take away empty dishes (which wasn't the case last year). Makes the whole place look more professional. The only problem we had was with the times the pool bar operated - you must really watch the time!
Rooms - we stayed in room 123, which was located near the kitchen. Slightly noisier in the mornings because of that. View to the trees (didn't enjoy it much, though, as we had the curtains drawn most of the time). Bathroom quite small, but clean, no mould or anything. Even the bath courtain clean (guess it was new). Cleaning once a day, towels changed more often than necessary, beds made every day, but they didn't really sweep the floor, which made it a little uncomfortable if you're used to walking bare foot "at home".
Surroundings - the nearest beach Aqua Marina quite unpleasant with the view of military area with a tanker and big tanks of fuel for the island. A bit southwards (around 10-minute walk) SunWing resort with a beautiful beach. The sand is coarse with small pebbles. It's better to walk all the way to the end of the beach as there are less pebbles so it's not so painful to wade into the water :)
Tips for trips - we paid for a one-day trip round the island with a stopover in Lindos (Venetian fortress), Monolithos (only to take a few photos), a mountain village (for local food) and the Valley of Butterflies (which were moths really, not very willing to move, but fascinating anyway). I definitely recommend such a thing! Another morning (it's a really good idea to wake up earlier and set off at around 9am - to avoid masses of tourists and the heat) we went to tha capital (2.20€ by bus - bus stop right next to the hotel, unforgettable experience) - first we went to the Ancient Stadium, then the Old Town and Mandraki harbour, followed by some shopping in the centre. Our last trip was to Kallithea Springs (1.10€ by bus direction of Falikari, stop Kallithea Springs / Thermal) again we set off at 9am and got there when there were few tourists - wonderful photos and memories, a must-see!
Transport - it's possible to hire a car / motorbike / bike. We decided to go by local bus which is quite frequent. There's not a timetable really, the buses operate at random but if you wave and smile, they stop even when they're crammed (not very pleasant but practical). Bus fares reasonable price. Another option is a taxi - quite expensive for us, but I guess acceptable for most tourists (we were on a budget holiday).
Overall experience - positive. Cheerful local people, everything goes smooth with a smile :) Very good food, drinks; sunny weather, pleasant wind which makes it a little more bearable. I enjoyed every bit of the holiday!

Me and my husband was visiting Princess Flora in May 2012. We hade booked All-inclusive from home. We enjoyed our visit at the hotel. It was very friendly staff, both the cleaning-ladies and the staff in the restaurant was very helpful and nice. The variety of food was very good at every meal and we enjoyed the good food. The hotel is perfect for couples that like a quite and still place out of town. Although it was easy to go to Rhodes town by taxi ( 7 euro) or with bus (3,80 euro). Their pool-area was also very nice and the lady in the pool-bar was very cherful.
We are going back next spring for sure.
