The communal areas and rooms were basic but clean, towels and shampoo/body wash/ hairdryer provided, good shower pressure. The air conditioning was pretty much useless, blowing air at the ceiling. This combined with uncomfortable bedding meant we slept poorly. Fresh bedding and towels provided on 3rd day. Good shallow kids pool and family pool but no lifeguards present here. Beware of the broken glass if travelling up the back stairs to the rooms looking out on the front restaurant. The snack bar has a good range of bites - the fresh fruit salad and chips were delicious! The breakfast selection was poor and the only fruit options were in syrup. The little choc pastries were pleasant but you’d have to be down at starting to nab some. Coffee nice and the staff were all very friendly. Good location with bus transportation Rhodos-Faliraki (40) every 20mins on doorstep and car rentals opposite from €45 a day. We didntt even check in paid and we had to leave due to a family emergency went back to hotel to explain our emergency was promised a refund as we didn't even check in money grabbers said they give us 150 pound bk less then half we gave them 4 weeks later nothing nice hotel nice grounds but don't care as long as there takin money ur disgusting what u have done to us

Pretty hotel with great big pools, cheap, but still really outstanding experience. We've been here 2yrs before, and things are way better now. Better food and the new waiters were simply awesome. When we first got to out room, a bottle of wine was waiting for us. Those people were so nice, we've had to tip them (not that we had to, we just really wanted to)... Chances are that well come back to Crete,and if yes this is the hotel we'll stay in 😍

Good hotel very friendly staff, nice pool, we booked bed and breakfast, so we didn't have a self catering room, it was basic but adequate for our needs, although a kettle in the room would if been nice only had a fridge. Very close to the beach and a good selection of take aways, restaurants, and bars close by.

I had an absolutely delightful week at Romantza Mare. The hotel truly exceeded my expectations with its outstanding value for money. The staff was exceptional - incredibly polite, attentive, and genuinely service-oriented. They proved their dedication to guest satisfaction when, despite a minor issue with the AC not effectively cooling the room, they promptly replaced the entire system the very next day. One of the highlights of my stay was the serene and calming atmosphere that enveloped the hotel area. It's an ideal setting for families, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and comfort.

Nice place, big room . Good breakfast . Noisy air conditioning. Big parking . Nice swimming pool. Good position , five minutes from Rhodes and 10 minutes from Faliraki . Close to the main road . Supermarket inside the hotel.

We had a wonderful time at the end of May even though the weather was changeable. The staff were so friendly and helpful and even gave us a blanket when I said I was cold in the night! We enjoyed the food at the hotel as part of the half board and thought it was a nice mixture to suite various tastes.

I LIKE Staff Swimming pool Location Breakfast + restaurant Rooms and balcony ..... I DON'T LIKE Curtains, no privacy ..should put some transparent voiles for not being seen. Had to close my curtains to dress up... Early dinner_ has to go to eat there before 8.30pm: too early while on holiday There should be options for late comers And more options like a la carte menu if you don't want to eat all , for 20 euros: expensive ..... Everyone is very friendly, attentive to your requests, make you feel at ease like if you are part of the family Very quiet in evening So if you want peace, perfect
