Stayed here one week in September. Booked through Tui no issues. Taxi transfer was great as we arrived at 3am. Room was on 5 th floor overlooking pool and sea. The hotel service from all areas and all staff were outstanding. From cleaners to waiting staff and especially the chef/cooks. The food was probably some the best we had had in a Hotel. The selection was varied and always included Greek food . We prefer to eat outside and there was a wait if 5-10 minutes for dinner. Not an issue but a chance to have a drink while waiting would be a good idea. The beach bar and bar in hotel lobby were great . The entertainment was fine . We don’t normally return to a hotel but as the Elysium was outstanding we would definitely return however have tried to book for June 2020 but hotel website states they are full.

Hotel's Favorite
It seems to be one of the bigger and new hotels and we got an upgrade to one of the pool facing honeymoon suites with complementary wine, sparkling wine and sweet canapés. The hotel is straight at the beach with a large nice pool and entertainment at the evenings. We had a rental car and enjoyed cruising the island during the days, as the hotel has the perfect beach location close to Rhodos old town.

We recently came back from 11 nights in this superb hotel. The staff are absolutely fabulous, they cannot do enough for you, they really do want you to have a fantastic holiday. Infact I got reprimanded for pouring my own wine in the Restaurant, that is a definite first!! They are all friendly, happy to have a chat and a joke and are always smiling. They are a definite asset to the hotel. The food in the restaurant is brilliant, I can't think of anything at the buffet breakfast which was not on offer! We had dinner in the Emerald Restaurant most nights( buffet style, although there was a menu for main course which was brought to the table, these were fabulous) there was so much choice, something different every night. The desserts are gorgeous!! The hotel is absolutely spotless. Our room was spotlessly cleaned everyday. The maids v friendly and conscientious. The pool area is v large and always sunbeds available. The beach is, as some have said pebbly and you will need beach shoes, but huge and there is plenty of space between the sunbeds, so you never feel ' crowded' The entertainment every night is great, different acts catering for all tastes. The staff- as everywhere- are fabulous. The bus to Rhodes stops directly outside the hotel and is every 20 minutes and takes 20 mins. Rhodes town is a must. Beautifully lit up in an evening, and always busy. The castle is a must( if you like looking at ancient castles/ sites) This hotel is a must if you are holidaying in Rhodes, we will definitely be back.

Just arrived home after a weeks stay at the Elysium Resort and Spa. This has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed at in terms of standards, cleanliness and service. The hotel has a fabulous spot on its own beachfront location. There is one main building and two separate buildings,we stayed in the 2nd block with a fantastic deluxe room on the 5th floor and great views over the pool and the sea. To try and give the best review possible I have broken my review into separate sections. Cleanliness - spotless ! The hotel, the grounds, the pool area and the beach are just immaculate. Everything in this hotel is pristine, there is also a fresh smell everywhere in the main lobby. Pool area - again faultless. Padded sunloungers, fixed parasols with their own service button for food and drinks, great central pool bar and an additional beach bar. Beach - everywhere is clean and the sea crystal clear. Great space between sunbeds, nothing overcrowded. The only negative is the fact that it is a pebble/shingle beach which was difficult to get used to after having had previous holidays on beautiful sandy beaches. Restaurants and Food - great choice of restaurants, one main buffet restaurant, plus the added restaurant called Fresh and Noble gourmet restaurant, also both the pool bar and beach bar serve food/snacks. The choice at breakfast was amazing and it was fantastic to sit outside having breakfast overlooking the great views of the sea. We ate at the main buffet restaurant and also at Fresh but did not use Noble. Please be aware that the main buffet restaurant does get very busy at certain times and on our first visit on Sunday night we waited 30 minutes just to be seated which was very frustrating and not quite 5 star expectations, one of the issues being some guests entered from the main lobby, others entered from the pool area, some wanted to be seated outside, others inside etc and whilst trying to accommodate everyones request, it resulted in a long queue. Perhaps this is something the hotel management could address in the future. The other negative about the restaurants was that whilst there was a great choice, for the majority of our stay the food was often just warm and not very hot. Location - Elysium is about 20 minutes from Rhodes town by local bus, the old town is a must, great at night when all lit up and traditionally Greek. In the opposite direction again by local bus you can get to Faliraki and Lindos. There are no bars or tavernas however within walking distance from the hotel so if you like to have a walk out after dinner there is not this option. Entertainment - a variety of evening shows at the beach bar, The Divos were very good, the Drifters also however the Rock show was disappointing. In the Crystal lounge there was a fantastic male pianist 3 times a week. He was a great guy, would ask for requests and have a chat, it was a shame that the bar only ever had a handful of guests as he deserves better. The lack of guests in the hotel on an evening was quite unusual and we often wondered where everyone went ? Service - this is where the hotel excelled, every member of staff is a credit to the hotel, service was exceptional everywhere. It is only fair to give credit to some of the staff we were served by - Marianne in reception, so helpful, nothing too much trouble. Elsa at the pool bar - great smile, quick service, she even remembered what we were drinking from the previous day. Georgia at the Almyra beach bar - fantastic smile, always polite. Theodora and Louis in the Crystal lounge - simply great. We always ended our our day with a nightcap in the lounge and Theodora and Louis were always there with fantastic service and a chat. Other reviews have mentioned the price of drinks. Yes some of them are quite expensive but no more expensive than any 5 star hotel in the UK, and you have the option of buying soft drinks, beers and wines from the mini-market and putting them in the fridge in your room. Summary - a fantastic hotel, immaculately clean and fully deserving the great reviews that other guests have given.
