Elysium Resort & Spa earns high marks for its pristine, modern rooms with stunning sea views, though a few guests suggest some areas could benefit from a refresh. The hotel's amenities, including an impressive pool and diverse dining options, receive consistent praise, as does the serene atmosphere that envelops the property. The staff's professional and friendly service is frequently commended, enhancing the overall guest experience. Set in a prime beachfront location, the resort offers easy access to local attractions. While the hotel's cleanliness is routinely celebrated, some guests feel the food and beverage prices are steep.

Thank you Elysium for just the best holiday I could have asked for to belatedly celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. Our room/suite 1224 was absolutely stunning with a stunning view. Had to keep pinching myself that we were so lucky. Massive, comfortable bed with beautiful quality sheets which were changed every day and lots of comfy pillows. Suite had two toilets which was handy, coffee machine, fridge with complimentary bottle of wine and daily bottle of water. First hotel I have been where the fridge actually works and kept things properly cold. Meals-again had to pinch myself with breakfast in stunning rooftop restaurant with everything I could possibly ask for-well other than a big mug/cup for my morning ‘cuppa’ tea (same in room-tiny midget cups). Dinner at rooftop restaurant was so romantic with live pianist & food served on individually handmade plates which were works of art. The ambience was perfect & every meal felt so special. Also dined in the main restaurant where you could mix and match buffet & A la carte meal/menu having one or other or both. Lovely calm ambiance again with table lamps and floor wine/ice buckets and waiter service that created proper restaurant feeling despite it being a buffet. We did the yoga & Pilates classes which were three times a day and excellent. Gym also excellent. We never used the pools just going to the beach. I gather the hotel was busy but it felt quiet generally and lots of free sunbeds which were all well spaced out. So lovely swimming out to the buoy and back. Just remember to take beach shoes for the pebbles. The staff were all exceptional and I am sorry I cannot list you all by name other than Emmanouella whom I promised I would write a review. Would recommend booking direct and also booking elite club if you can. The complimentary airport transfers were so quick and easy. The hotel has such a lovely, calm, restful ambiance and everything is tasteful and kept beautifully clean. Elysium was so wonderful and perfect for a special celebration and I sincerely hope I don’t have to wait for another 25 years of marriage to come back again!

We went to the 2. Let's go. Again this year it was a very relaxing stay.
The well-furnished room we received was in the main house (room 1111), the sea view was a bit restricted but did not really bother us.
We enjoyed the additional services, such as breakfast on the top floor on the roof terrace, and coffee in the afternoon in the elite lounge. In the main restaurant Emerald the dinner was with choice of menu of the main course and a more than extensive buffet. the staff was very attentive but not intrusive. Only the drink prices seemed very high to us. The quality of the food is consistently first class, but sometimes only lukewarm.
The garden area is super well maintained, on the pebble beach there are comfortable sun loungers. Bathing shoes are a must, a small jetty would be desirable to make it easier for seniors to access the sea. The pool is huge, but disturbing is the recently introduced barrier of the rear pool area as pool access for the lowest rooms in house 2, which benefit this is supposed to have, does not really open up to me.
However, the overall impression is not clouded in any way by the above suggestions and we are already looking forward to the coming year.

We have just returned from our Sixth 11-day stay at the Elysium Resort and Spa and we have already done a simulation to return there for a Seventh stay next year at this time.
Rhodes is a mesmerizing Island and I Love 💕 going there, we find the Kindness of People, the Sweetness 🤗 of the Sun ☀️ and for us the Pension of our Dreams.
When you arrive at L'Elysium Resort and Spa you are taken care of immediately by a very warm welcome staff.
Each stay I book a room in an Elite Club where we have Privileges, a check in / out in a separate lounge, we have access to this lounge throughout the stay with drinks and in case of discretion all day 😊.
We are entitled every day to a bottle of water and every other day one in case in the room.
The staff who make the rooms are very discreet and pay attention from the beginning when we are not in the room... Ours was always done on the way back from breakfast.
The room is really perfect with good bedding, enough storage, a balcony overlooking the sea Splendid, a Nepresso machine with capsules and kettle, plus an Evening service where the staff make the bed again, change the towels even those of the beach and leave us chocolates.
Another privilege is to be able to have our breakfast on the roof, it is really Fantastic with a Magic Sea View, a la carte service and a majestic buffet. Not speaking English I used my entire stay of my phone to translate our requests and we had no problem...Every morning I asked using my phone for eggs à la carte and I always had what I wanted scrambled eggs, Omelettes, eggs in the flat with the desired cooking for my husband is me.. The staff is really caring for us.
The beach is very clean and there are deckchairs and umbrellas in sufficient..
We had part of our meals in the evening at Restaurant Emerald with Marilena that we know for 6 years and who is a Solar Person ☀️, she is a kindness with Attentions for all Customers and she allowed us to eat fantastic dishes from the à la carte menu, there is always the Manolis Manager who helps her because she always has a lot of table... The buffets are filled continuously and the meals are really delicious.
We were also lucky to be able to Eat at Restaurant Gastro le Noble and there It is Sublime, cozy atmosphere, personal more than at the little Care and Service worthy of the great Restaurants.. The staff is very professional, attentive.... What to do if you can...
Particular to Katerina who speaks French like you and me, she answers all your requests and even more... I needed treatment in the evening to relieve my husband, she looked with her colleague on the internet for the Greek name of the molecule and she sent the Inn valet to the pharmacy and when we came back from the meal the tablets were there...

Really the Hotel Elysium Resort and Spa is the Must and we will return next year..
See you all soon.
Good to you 😊.
Mr and Mrs Stalter Pascal and Marie Pierre room 1131.

Fabulous holiday once again at the Elysium but this time we upgraded to the Elite Club and worth every penny. The rooms always spotless and the added freebies like the loofahs and mini toothbrushes/ combs and razor all added to it. Great having the iron/ board in the room. Though our room was above the restaurant, it was still quiet once 11 o’clock hit even with the noise heard from the next hotel. The Almyra beach bar was our ‘go to’ after our meal for a cocktail and to see the nightly tribute acts and DJs. I want to thank the staff, some of whom actually remembered us from 2 years previous. All the staff are so helpful and friendly and work so hard and always with a smile. I also want to add an additional thanks for the birthday cake/sparkling wine and birthday greeting left in the room. It was a belated 60th birthday holiday for my husband. We totally enjoyed our ‘chilled’ holiday thanks to the Elysium….. a true 5 star experience. Even our delayed Jet2 flight home couldn’t spoil the experience. I have to add that we ended up staying in Rhodes for another night and only wish it could have been back at the Elysium because we were put up in the Rodos Palace in Ixia which is also labelled as a 5 star……… NOWHERE NEAR A 5 STAR and definitely no comparison to the Elysium. Thank you so much all the staff at the Elysium and when we come to Rhodes again in the future we will have no hesitation in staying with you👍😊x

With the warmest recommendation from my sister, I visited the Elysium with a friend and overall I can look back on a wonderful short vacation.
Despite initial challenges with the room (upgrade to an Elite Room, whose toilet and bathroom were clearly run down), we switched to the newly renovated Premium Deluxe room we had booked with sea view and pool access (swim up) with our own loungers. The latter is indescribably pleasant and relaxing. It is located in the Helios annex building, but all distances are short as the complex is set up very practically.
The outdoor areas and the beach are particularly well maintained and offer plenty of space in a beautiful ambience.

Some of the reception staff could be more attentive and friendly for my taste. With every contact, a certain sense of being overwhelmed and distant was apparent. This may subside once the start of the season is over and things have settled down.

Fortunately, the service in the Emerald and Fresh restaurants is different. There, Maître Manoli is the heart of the gastronomy and always scores with professionalism and attentiveness. He takes care of every request. We have taken him to our hearts and owe the great atmosphere to him in particular. He is dynamic, humorous and leads a strong team. We would especially like to send our warmest regards and thanks to him, as well as to Petroula, Evgenios and Christoforos. We would love to come back!

The hotel setting and building are of a very high standard. Pool areas are very clean with luxurious sunbeds. The reception, bars and restaurants are all beautifully decorated. The hotel has a good position on the beach. Our room had a full sea view and was very comfortable. Cleaning is good although we sometimes had to ask for soap and tissues to be replenished.
It is very easy to get the bus into Rhodes town and only takes 20 minutes. We did not have any problem getting on a bus even in the middle of the day. You can also go the opposite direction to Faliraki about 10 minutes away. There are very few shops and bars within walking distance of the hotel. Drinks and snacks are very expensive at the hotel 11 Euros for two very small beers and spirits a lot more.
The food I found to be very variable although my husband mostly liked it. It is of fine dining style not many vegetables always. The main course set menu in the Emerald restaurant included many fish dishes such as sea bream, perch and swordfish which are not to everyone's taste. There was also a buffet but sometimes again not much choice and food was very spread out so it was difficult to find things. Breakfast was the usual buffet but we did have difficulty getting freshly cooked eggs until we asked the restaurant manager and eventually the chef did them when he told them to. They cook at lot in one go and then put them in a large dish so they go cold quickly. The restaurant manager Manolis however was very helpful throughout our stay.
This is a lovely hotel in many respects but for me the food let it down.

This is our 2nd stay at The Elysium resort and Spa in Kalithea. Our first visit was June 2023 and we had a fantastic time and this year lived up to our expectations. The hotel is fantastic and most especially the staff throughout all departments work tirelessly to ensure your stay is fantastic. The location allows you to easily explore Rhodes town, Faliraki, hire boats go on boat trips and the local bus is cheap and stops right outside in both directions- it can be a bit busy!!
All areas of the hotel your rooms, restaurants, gardens, pool and beach are kept spotlessly clean. There is ample space and loungers around the pool and on the beach we never had a problem getting a lounger on the beach. As in every hotel you get the selfish guests who put towels down at 9am and don't appear till 2pm but it did not appear to impact due to the generous volume of loungers especially on the beach. There is a fantastic choice at both breakfast and dinner and was generally very tasty, the only slight downside of buffet is sometimes the food is warm not hot.
The beach bar entertainment at night is of very good quality and the staff there are certainly very friendly and efficient the bar in the hotel at the reception is certainly not so well organised and service at times even when not busy was slow and could be improved having said that we mostwent to the beach bar at night. The staff throughout this hotel could not be faulted they are all stars ✨️. We most certainly would have no hesitation in returning to The Elysium and hope to do so next year.

We (my son and his partner and my wife and I) had returned to Rhodes for a family wedding. We were last here just after lockdown and stayed at a different hotel where the experience was less than enjoyable, so this time we thought we'd treat ourselves. We were not disappointed!! Before arriving I'd put a few questions to the hotel via their chat link, all were answered within a couple of days, so that was a good sign.
One of them was regarding my son's partner who is gluten intolerant, the simple instruction was to let them know on arrival.
The courtesy taxi was waiting for us at the airport, and the driver was engaging and pleasant which set the tone for the holiday.
Of the MANY strengths at this hotel the people stand out. Whether it's management, reception, catering staff, housekeepers or gardeners, EVERYONE is great. I'd love to call out some names but that would be unfair to the rest.
With regards to the gluten issue, we mentioned it on arrival and at the first meal. From then on the gluten free menu would appear as if by magic, the restaurant manager would check that everything was OK, and would recommend GF alternatives from the regular dishes on offer. OUTSTANDING customer service.

On other topics, the choices of food are vast, the hotel shop is well stocked (one small suggestion - fresh milk would be nice, but there is a small supermarket 10 minutes walk away), beach/pool towels are free, the room safe is free, the fridge in the room is big enough to stand a bottle of wine in (did I mention the free bottle you get??), in-room toiletries are great so no need to pack shower gel and shampoo). In the main restaurant the evening dress code is "smart". Gentlemen do not have to wear long trousers, but smart shorts and shirts/polos are allowed.
There are plenty of sun beds both round the pool and on the beach.
Many thanks to Management and staff for a perfect holiday.
If ever we come to Rhodes again there is only one hotel we will stay at. The Elysium is a great hotel.

Ideal for relaxation!

There is nothing going on in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Very friendly staff, very good food. Crystal clear water. Gravelly beach -> Don't forget swimming shoes! So far everything ok..

Riesiger Pool.

But:

1) The pool area is only accessible from 10:00 to 18:00

2) The run on the pool chairs starts at 06:30. From time to time, guests block the loungers with towels.

3) Many guests have pizzas and other items served in the box on the loungers. Correspondingly, garbage piles up in the trash cans and between the loungers.

There would be very simple solutions:

1) Lounger allocation by the pool with towel dispensing and placement of towels exclusively by 2 or 3 hotel staff from 08:00 to e.g. 12:00. After that, this is no longer necessary. That would also be a nice service to guests.
Then couples would also not reserve more loungers in such a way that a lounger remains free on the left and right. This would also increase the capacity abruptly.

2) Even blocked but unoccupied loungers are cleared by the hotel staff from 08:00 to e.g. 12:00

2) Pool access from 08:00 at your own risk

3) Constant tour to remove trash and empty trash cans in the pool area.

Such measures would be worthy of a 5***** hotel!

On the beach in September there were no problems with the availability of sunbeds.

We will be back in September 2024. Let's see if anything has improved.

I can only express my thanks for the way my family was treated by all the staff at the resort.
We found them all very friendly and polite, always willing to help where needed.
The accommodation was very comfortable and modern.
Would highly recommended this location for a beach holiday and proximity to Rhodes town. Both the spa and multi gym are of a very high standard with the gym equipment being of a premium standard.
Thanks to all the staff.
