We spent 4 nights at Maroc Lodge and were wowed by the beautiful surroundings, the fantastic and spacious suite we had been upgraded to (it's worth booking directly with David, the owner for discounts!) and the high quality of the food, and friendliness of the staff. It was great to have the flexibility of choosing where to have our meals,...

This place is very special. Wake up to the sound of birdsong in a pristine and spacious lodge, eat breakfast taking in the amazing vmountain views. Sit in the beautiful gardens surrounded by birds. The staff are warm, friendly and efficient and the manager David is excellent, arranging taxis and guides easily. The food is delicious and service first class....

After the bustle of Marrakech, an oasis of beauty and calm. Wonderful birdsong, beautiful gardens, amazing mountain views and an excellent guide called Latifa who can , by arrangement, take you on memorable trips into the Atlas Mountains or to see Berber villages. Food at the Lodge is excellent, the accommodation, in five "cottages" set in the gardens and around...

The Lodge is beautiful, private, spacious and immaculate. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was so large we had our own open fireplace, as well as a large table and a huge shower. The food is totally outstanding. I am usually fussy, but was also pregnant and had a cold when we stayed so I really thought that meals...

Lodge Maroc is situated in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains with excellent views from the little houses that make up the hotel and from the pool. The hotel runs beautifully, the food is superb, the rooms are spacious, clean and slightly quirky! the manager makes everything easy, hiring taxis and providing a guide, the outstanding Latifa, to take...

After the hustle and bustle of Marrakech, it was wonderful to arrive at Maroc Lodge. Our first utterance was "Shangri-la". The hotel is made up of a series of beautifully furnished individual houses, in tree lined walks, facing onto a unheated pool and surrounded by exquisite gardens. Excellent local food was served either in the restaurant or outside on the...

Wow. Where can I start. I could rave about this place for ever but that would be boring, I don't have the writing skills. In brief though: Maroc Lodge is a small collection of eclectically furnished, spacious, comfortable bungalows arranged around a pool on the edge of the frontier town of Azmizmiz, which is about a hour's drive from Marrakech....

I stayed here with my sister quite a few years ago now (2010) and was looking it up to recommend to some friends and thought it well worth leaving a review despite the number of years that have passed! I couldn't rate Marco Lodge more highly - the food, service and location are all outstanding. Would highly recommend! I just...

Travelled with friends to Morocco for a weeks holiday After the bustle of Marrakech we were collected and driven the 50km to Amizmiz to stay in this beautiful serene garden hotel. We stayed in single storey bungalows each with patio and view to the pool and across the valley to the Atlas Mountains . We went walking on the next...

Well enough signposted (by Moroccan standards) and well worth seeking out! An hour from Marrakesh airport and so close to the beautiful Atlas mountains that you see as you fly in. As ever, surrounded by a traditional boundary wall but the hillside location provides uninterrupted views of the snow covered mountains "above" and around you. I found myself in the...
