Stayed here in the spring, the bedrooms have all now been refurbished, to a high standard, very comfortable, modern with a coastal theme. You are spoilt for choice with the menu, catering for all types, from Thai mussels, Monkfish with Udon noodles in veg broth, to lambs liver, steak nights, and themes on different days of the week. I would definitely recommend...

This is a very friendly pub which is undergoing a refurbishment. The bedrooms have already been spruced up and ours was lovely with a very comfortable bed and nice quality bedlinen. En suite very up to date and could not be faulted. Breakfasts were good with plenty of choice. We only ate there one evening, as we had family staying...

Many thanks for your review, We are glad that you enjoyed your stay and meals with us. I enjoyed Quesadillas so much when travelling in Mexico I decided they should go on the menu and they seem to have been a great hit, and you can't go to the sea side with out fish and chips! Nicole & Family

Hotel being tastefully renovated in 2016. Rooms all done and they'd started on the downstairs by October. New rooms are clean and very comfortable. Owners are welcoming and helpful. Beer is good. Food is fantastic and very reasonably priced.

We spent Halloween weekend at the Portreath Arms with family and friends; eight adults and a little one. The rooms are newly renovated - funky and modern. Ours had a telescope in for night sky gazing! It was spotlessly clean with plenty of room for the two of us, a good hot shower and bright bathroom. We ate at the...

Very welcoming. A pleasant room. Impressed to start with when we went to dinner because of the flexibility offered by the staff in what could be added/removed from the dishes offered to suit dietary requirements. Disappointed the following morning. When we asked for a little fresh fruit salad to go with the muesli (because of a dairy free diet, milk...
