This is conveniently located on the Garching campus, so has just become my hotel of choice when visiting one of the research institute here. The rooms have a small kitchenette, which I like. The staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of reasonable quality, although exactly the same very day. Note that for short stays the kitchens are by default not equipped, but you can request this for a small extra fee.
The only negative point is that there are very few facilities in the area. The only restaurant open in the evening is in the next door Marriot, but it is very poor. There are no food shops, so you need to travel to Garching to buy supplies: but that is only one stop on the U-Bahn, so quite quick.

As you mentioned, unfortunatley there is no supermarket around, but only one stop (2min) away within the quaint city of Garching where you will also find bavarian restaurants, pizza places and everything you may need. Also the restaurant in our Courtyard hotel is open till late as well as a little burger restaurant right next to the Science Congress Center. only small negative thing were that room temperature was higher than I wanted, even I disconnected heater, so I usually opened window when I stayed in room.
Small kitchen and good shower.
Breakfast was simple but enough + good coffee.

I booked an apartment for a football weekend with my son. The rooms are well equipped and spacious. There is a subway station right in front of the hotel to take you directly to the stadium or the city center. Breakfast can be ordered or taken in the neighboring hotel. We were completely satisfied and enjoyed our time.

I lived in the Stellaris for a few days a few years ago. It was planned for the long term and therefore had no problems. However, if you are a businessman and have to react at short notice, this aparthotel is unfortunately completely unsuitable, as they are completely inflexible when it comes to changes.

The staff were great and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. The only problem is parking . None around hotel and the underground parking is not owned by hotel. It is 20 euro a day. The rooms are adequate for long stay. Beds are comfortable and bathroom are huge. Kitchen is small but works for simple food.

We had a great stay. New, modern, clean hotel with friendly, courteous staff and a cozy lobby including a pool table. Located right on the U6 and perfect for a visit to the stadium (3 stops). After the game, the bar in the hotel was still open, perfect for a nightcap.

When I checked in they accidentally used my card twice and charged me almost 1000 Euro too much. When I asked them to repay the money (since they never noticed that mistake themselves) they refused to cover the bank fees of 30 Euro.
The hotel itself is ok, but the kitchen had basically no items, so if you are counting on using that kitchen you prob. need to bring a lot of utensils yourself.

Dear Florian, thank you for your comment on your last stay with us. We are really sorry that you were facing problems with the card payment and the service we offered. Usually, all of our guests have to pay the full amount of their stay during our check-in process. Apparently, your card was charged twice, therefore we talked with our team about to double check the amount charged in the future. Concerning the point you mentioned about the kitchen utensils, of course we have everything you´ll need on the spot. The reception staff is really happy to help you with everything you need. For short stays (<2 weeks) a small fee will be charged for the whole equipment of the kitchen. The hotel is centrally located on the research campus and is modernly equipped with comfortable and well-equipped rooms.
The small kitchenette with a Nespresso machine is also nice.
