We had fantastic time riding camels for 1 hour tour at Negev Camel Ranch. They were the only place who would allow kids younger than 5 to ride a camel and our daughter who is 3 thoroughly enjoyed her ride. The camels are well trained and the guide was great leading us to the dessert and telling some stories. We... More

We came to the Negev Camel Ranch for a 1 hour camel ride and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling in the area (or even if you're not)! It was a truly unique experience. The tours leave every hour on the hour from about 9 or 10 AM to 4 PM. We were advised when we called to come... More

We stayed at the Negev Camel Ranch during our travels around Israel on February 28th 2016. Our party consisted of my wife and I and our two daughters ages 10 and 14. We had arrived in Israel a week earlier and left our lodging options open for our second week there. We saw the camel ranch and decided, "Why not,... More

The food, vegetarian "shepherd's" meals was amazing and plentiful. Fresh hot bread (pita for dinner and rolls for breakfast), cheeses, vegetables, lemonade and mint tea with dates for dessert. The accommodations are basic, but not uncomfortable. Our hut had 5 beds (cots) 2 pushed together and made up as a double and 3 along the walls. Each wall has a... More

We stayed on the camel ranch on a weekend when we had a two-days walk on the Israel national trail. The ranch is located in a perfect place for those who walk the section of the trail that passes through the machtesh areas. The huts where we slept, though very basic, were clean and tidy. So were the common showers... More

Camels get a bad rap for being crabby, bitey, and bad tempered spitters. Not the camels at the Negev Camel Ranch. These are some fat, happy, well-adjusted camels who like people. Our family stopped for the night at the Camel Ranch, had the Bedouin Dinner, and a morning Camel Ride and loved it. It was the highlight of our trip... More

My husband and I went to the camel ranch in February and had a wonderful 1 hour ride in the desert! The camels are clean, docile, and they do not spit! The ranch hand, Lola, made us feel so comfortable on our ride...she is an expert horse and camel rider, often riding side saddle during our tour. We learned a... More

Absolutely wonderful! You can not miss this ranch if you are visiting Israel! The entire ranch, the spectacular desert location, the cabins, and the experience with the camels are unique. We loved everything about our stay there and THANK very much the personnel and the owner who are extremely nice and interesting people. Would definitely recommend and return.

Staying at the Negev Camel Ranch was a treat. The facilities are basic: a simple room (we took the dorm) and shared toilet/bathroom. Both are clean and well maintained. However, the highlight of the place is its surrounding. The place is quiet and peaceful, and the only sounds you’ll hear are the camels. The place is also a great base... More
