We stayed here on a yoga holiday to celebrate my birthday. I wanted to try something immersive as currently I do yoga once a week and my husband has done yoga on and off in the past. The yoga holiday was great as it allowed the flexibility and freedom to choose how much or how little you wanted to do.... More

What a lovely place! The food is to die for (best momos I've ever eaten, cooked by a genuine Tibetan chef), the staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the grounds are beautiful (just smaller than I expected). The rooms are luxurious (the mattresses are firm though) and there is a book exchange in reception. Wifi is limited to reception... More

We wanted to go to Goa for some sun. The wife wanted to try some yoga classes, I just wanted some peace and quiet, so we thought - let's try a Yoga Retreat! Then, to make it easy, we just booked the #1 and #2 reccos on TripAdvisor for 4 days each. One's a bit jungly (Ashiyana), the other's right... More

First time in India, arrived at Goa's airport, transfer went well.. This place is as beautiful as its pictures suggest, and I'm afraid I have not a single negative thing to say about it! The food was awesome, the atmosphere was so chilled with plenty of spaces to be alone, with nature, or with others, to meet new people, or... More

We've visited Ashiyana in the beginning of October and truly enjoyed the whole experience. The yoga classes were versatile and challenging in the morning and restorative and inspiring in the afternoon. The resort is very tranquil and peaceful, the food here is excellent and staff always pleasant and helpful. We loved our room, a Raj double and enjoyed the many... More

I spent a week here in mid October 2016 and it was lovely. Pros: AMAZING vegetarian food, 4 hours of fantastic yoga classes every day, and lots of extras such as meditation and massage. My Mango treehouse room was stunning, bit of a hard bed but the staff gave me an extra mattress topper which was lovely. Shower not powerful... More

I've spent two wonderful weeks yoga training in this beautiful place. My room was comfy and the food was great. There is many areas to chill out and meet people or remain alone within the resort. The place is very green and all the staff is friendly.

This place is really very good. I've done a few of these places across Asia and Europe and this is by far the best. It's well thought through, extremely chilled in terms of setting which means you really wind down and offers a totally comprehensive experience. I went as a solo (39 year old guy from Oxford), for a bit... More

My husband and I chose Ashiyana as his first yoga retreat as we wanted somewhere with a varied schedule and luxury accommodation. Ashiyana delivered (and some!) on both fronts. The whole place is beautifully landscaped and feels like a real oasis. We stayed in one of the rooms in the main house which was carefully designed and furnished with Indian... More
