We do not usually stay in B&Bs and were not too sure what to expect, but needed somewhere to stay for the Tour de France and there were very limited options. We shouldn't have been concerned, Nancy was the perfect host. Nothing was a problem. Breakfast was huge and delicious and the room was immaculate as was the bathroom. We... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, three people. The hotel was beautiful and the room was very large and cozy. The beds were so comfortable; we slept very well. Everything was so beautiful; lot of nice things to make everything like as you were at home. Nancy was so helpful and made our trip to Normandy a success.... More

We stayed a couple of nights at this B&B whilst cycling the Normandy D-Day beaches in September. The location does not appear inviting at first, given that it is on the main road through Craentan, however we found it to be within easy walking distance of the town centre. The large double room we had was comfortable, neat and very... More

My family and I stayed for three marvelous days in this excellent BNB. The rooms, the facilities, the breakfast and especially the warmth, kindness and hospitality offered by Nancy and her family was a real treat. This is a great BNB and we warm heartedly recommend this to anyone at anytime.

My husband and I recently visited Normandy and stayed with kind and helpful Nancy and Pascal at their comfortable inn. The rooms are large and homey and Nancy puts on a wonderful breakfast in their pretty dining room and garden every morning--homemade muffins and bread and croissants, cheese and fruit and jam, coffee and tea. Carentan is very near Utah... More

My kids and I stayed there last June during our trip to Normandy and I have to say it is a very convenient and central town to go and explore the region. The owners were really accommodating and helpful, giving us advice about the most interesting things to visit. The rooms were finely decorated and very comfy, also there were... More

Booked on line and placed large emphasis on Trip Advisor rating however, although this is an old property which is full of character it is situated on the main road out of Carentan on a very busy crossroads. In fact we were told this was the location of the original Carrefour store. Three of the six rooms are facing the... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in June. It was well placed for visiting the western side of the D day sites. We had a large clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was typically continental, and more than adequate. Nancy, our hostess was very friendly, and helpful and all in all it was a very pleasant stay, very good value for... More

I have stayed at this place several times and I keep on returning when I am around, for work or for pleasure. All rooms have character and radiate a house feeling. After spending countless nights in perfect sterile hotel rooms, this really feels like home away from home.

We began a 2 week bicycle tour of Normandy and Brittany in Carentan, a small, quiet town today, but a cornerstone to the Allied victory during WW II. The battle of Carentan was a turning point during the Battle of Normandy, and remembrances of this are reflected everywhere you look in this town. Chambers d'hotes de Carentan is a perfect... More
