This was the trip that never was due to a deceptive booking. We had spotted an offer in the newspaper for the Hotel Carlotn which was to run through July. Having read some other reviews in which you potentially could be placed in a room facing a brick wall, I asked when booking if we could have one of the...

My Family and I stayed here during May 2010. The hotel is situated centrally in Belleek, across the road from Belleek Pottery which is very handy. I have to say that the Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was very nice with some choice of hot and cold varieties. Our bedroom was nice enough but had a view...

Stayed here for one night in Sept. 08 on our way from Connemara to the north coast. Staff at the desk was very helpful and friendly, food in the bar was good, breakfast was an excellent full Irish breakfast, room was clean and comfortable. And you can't beat their policy of "anything you need 24 hours a day". We'll stay...

We had a 2 night stay at this hotel and were very pleased with what was on offer. The place was clean. The food was excellent and the staff were more than helpful especially the waitress Bernie who was very jovial. We were quite apprehensive when booking this hotel as it got some negative reviews on this site. However, our...

Oh dear what a catastrophe. This place was shambolic for the minute we entered until the day we left. We booked in to the Carlton for the Easter weekend after reading favourable reviews on here. We were left waiting an age at reception which was unmanned and then the girl came out from the bar using bad language...good start. We...

I stayed here with my fiance for 1 night. The room was comfortable with a huge bed! The bathroom was lovely and modern. A few more toiletries would have been nice, but it's a minor point. Without doubt the best part of our stay was the evening meal in the hotel's restaurant. It was an a la carte menu and...

Firstly a note to Jomick regarding the review 'Nice Enough' in May - the miserable middle aged waitress is still there. Before taking our order she told us how dreadful she felt, I wondered if she ever smiled when she was well. I felt very sorry for the people who entered the restaurant at 8.30pm just as she thought she...
