La Francesca Resort We stayed there for a week this year in September. Everything is great, but it's important to know a few things. It's indicated to take with you toilet paper, soap (you find one in the bathroom, but that's all you get :-) ), and everything you need. There is a small market, but it's not open all...

Stayed two nights as a couple. Despite our booking confirmation showing we had booked a detached apartment we were given the keys to one in a block of about eight. So that was a bad start and then the key didn't work. After about fifteen minutes of trying by the receptionist, a cleaner and a handyman, using different keys, they...

This is a wonderful location but the resort desperately needs updating. It's stuck in a time warp from the 70's. Terrible decor in the houses with a campsite style kitchen. Very friendly staff. Great views of the Mediterranean within walking distance of Levento.

It' kind of difficult to review this place. So much is wonderful and if they had sold their accommodation as a 2-star campsite I would have given them max. But when you call yourself a resort, even a 4-star one it really falls apart. Let's start with the positive. The location is superb, really great. We had appartment 828 on...

The location is ok, the service over all is not and there is much room for improvement for this site. Location: as said, ok/good. Situated on coast side between Bonassola and Levanto. 3 Stars. Restaurant: view from the terrace is great, quality of the food is poor. The only reason for people to be there is because of the voucher...

We were supposed to stay for four nights at La Francesca, but after we got an awful room situated under the reception hall we got really pissed off and asked for a full refund. The ladies at the reception denied us the refund and all we could get was a better room for additional money! That was the only bad...

Mr Christian and Mrs Karina had received - before making their reservation - all the information about it, what kind of offer we propose and what facilities, which are not (as often explained: see our rates) those of a 4 stars hotel! Problems have arisen immediately on arrival. They did not like the small flat they had booked for 3...

Think camping and hiking- lots of hiking- up mountains. Also be prepared to bring in supplies- even food. If you don't have a car it is nearly impossible to purchase groceries in the nearby town. The views are stunning and beautiful hiking trails. The pool is strange- very strange. Very strict rules and odd staff. The employees in the mini...

We came here expecting basic, but in actual fact many of the facilities were just neglected and run-down. Examples, such as the ignition not working on the hob, thus having to buy a lighter and light bulbs in the bedroom out. The description offers a football pitch and tennis courts, both of which were actually unplayable - weeds on the...

Beautiful location however very poor service with lack of basic amenities such as toilet paper, shampoo and soap for the duration of the stay. Rooms are very basic and maintenance of rooms is not appropriate for a hotel of this rating. For breakfast you don't even get a plate to put your croissants on.

Dear Mr Erik: thanks for the appreciation given to our resort (a 15 hectares' park facing the sea). But once more I have to explain that your negative comments - although appropriate for a 4 stars' hotel - cannot be taken into consideration if referred to an accomodation like ours which according to the Italian law is considered in the...

Park situated extremely beautiful. Facing the sea. Views from nearly all appartements are great. The Upper Bungalows don't have a sea view.. sort of no view at all. Avoid these I would say. Appartements are basic +, park mantained properly and neat. Pool good. For small childeren the sea is not easy accessible, while it is a rocky - private-...
