This is a nice, easy to find, stop over when driving from Namibia to Botswana north or east. The hotel offers breakfast and dinners for the late arrivals or early departures. Rooms are basic but water is warm and the beds are super comfy. And very safe parking.

Rooms are clean but dated. staff is not helpful at all... Food was very bad, could not sleep because I had a running stomach... Didn't even tried breakfast... Their is no reason to stay over at this place, overrated... Their must be better places in Ghanzi, if not, just continue and pass Ghanzi...

While staying in Ghanzi we ventured out for some food and drink. From the word go it did not look good for the Kalahari Arms. After waiting for a long time to be serviced the staff where then rude and abrasive. When the food finally arrived it was of an incredibly poor standard and also very small in quantity. It... More

We didn't have high expectations of this hotel, since it's the only place to sleep in a town in the middle of the Kalahari. But the room was very nice, spacious and clean, the staff was friendly and the restaurant had delicious food! I'd definitely stay here again.

Very nice rooms. Perfect service. Very kind and friendly staff everywhere at the Kalahari Arms. In the restaurang, the ladies bar and all around the place. I always enjoy staying at the Arms. Situated in the centre of Ghanzi city, close to shopping centers, supermarkets and the bus stand.

Location was excellent for our stay over. Excellent room, amenities and dining room. Loved the swimming pool and it was an added bonus. Gardens and surroundings very tranquil and neat. Reception could have been a little more friendly.

The hotel must have been a sight for sore eyes & an oasis of civilisation 40 years ago. It is conveniently located in the centre close to shops & filling stations. We found it tired, dusty, with very laid back staff, not value for money & with insects crawling in the albeit fresh linen. Staff was not interested in either... More

It was a great place with proper swimming pool and very central, but not very friendly staff and it was shocking that a long term hotel not having proper WiFi and charge for it too. Its expensive for their service and the cost of foods are similar to European countries. It was a good place for camping too.

Driving in temperature of +40° we were looking for a place to eat and drink something cold. Seemed this was the only decent place. Well, it was not a bad place to have lunch, food was good and drinks cold. Despite having airconditioners they were not switched on. Sitting on a hot verandah was not too pleasant.

Safe, clean, with good-size cottages. Internet was down, and there was no will to fix it but cell signal is 4G so get a sim and tether if you need to get online. Also, surprisingly tasty food in the restaurant. Try to book directly, perhaps calling them, as SA on-line booking agency doubles the price.
