It was fantastic from start to finish. We had perfect time at Full Moon Village.
The villa was beautifully decorated with the outdoor jacuzzi, the swimming pool is surrounded by palm trees which give us full relaxation and beach is so clean and also long beach.
The restaurant offers both Western and Vietnamese food and also signature cocktails.
Friendly staff and always ready to help you and special thanks to Manager Mr. Ibrahim to assist us always.
We will be definitely back ❤!

We’ve spent a couple of nights in this beach hotel in Mui Ne with our dachsund and we’ve had a good time.
The villas are quite nice, Vietnamese style and really big garden outside with a jacuzzi. The condition of the villa could be a bit better but it’s clean and you have a kitchen, sofa, tv, table for 4 people and a bedroom, etc.
The dog has enjoyed it a lot as he can be in the swimming pool, in the restaurant, in the beach so really pet friendly.
The restaurant is okay, nothing special but big selection of western and vietnamese dishes. And the breakfast is also not bad.
The beach is quite dirty with a lot of plastics, cows and boats, but you can have long walks with the dog which is very nice.
So all in all, considering the 1.8M/night it’s been a pleasurable stay and would recommend if you go with a dog.

How to get there: If you take the FUTA bus to Phan Tiet they take you in a mini bus to Mui Ne where you change the bus again which brings you directly to the Resort (in the fare included). If you take the train you have to spend another 500.000 VND for the taxi to get there.
I spent 3 nights in the Full Moon Village as a single traveller.
So I enjoyed very much to have the spacious villa for myself (the second sleeping room was locked, of course) located in a very nice garden with my own natural stone jacuzzi I did use quite often. The villa is equipped incredibly tasteful, Thanks to the owners for providing us with such a beautiful surrounding!
Coffee making facilities are available.
To get to the beach and the restaurant you need to cross a small but not very busy road, no problem!
The pool (on the villas' side) is huge and surrounded by exceptional palm trees, very impressive indeed as all gardening is designed and maintained very well. Pool opening hours from 7:00am to 6:00pm could be extended.
Breakfast buffet with a wide range for every taste. A la carte is o.k. but nothing special, not very authentic Vietnamese and prizes a bit high.
All together this is an amazing quiet, tasteful and friendly place where you can recover from the tiring and exhausting "outside" of Vietnamese everyday life.
I will definitely come back!
Thanks again to you all.

Wow, so I actually live in Mui Ne, but wanted to enjoy a short break with my partner, so Full Moon Village was perfect for this. I emailed them only a few days before and mentioned that it was my partners birthday. Everything was organised so easily and our villa was beautiful. Everything about this resort is actually beautiful, and the team were all so helpful and friendly. I especially love their pool area, and the literal icing on the cake was that they organised a surprise birthday cake for my partner. This was presented to him at breakfast and was a great surprise (for both him and me). I highly reccommend this sport for a great place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet.

Basically a good place but too far from everything. Villa is nice but with no security and safety standards and the resort don’t really care about the outside area of each villa. Looked like an abandoned place from the outside.
Got robbed here our last night and there was no sorry or something else from the management.
Must be an inside since its impossible to come thru the window if its closed and locked. So cleaning lady did let the window a bit open behind the curtain or something.

A short but delightful stay in Full Moon Village, the place is very beautiful and very well maintained. The swimming pull is fantastic with its waterfall, and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant offers varied and good meals, I will surely go back there.

It is good to know a few things before traveling here: Mui Ne is located in the Binh Thuan province, whose capital is Phan Thiet. If your deciding to come here by train (e.g. from Saigon, 4 hrs, we arrived even after 3.45 hrs; generally, the train is quite convenient), this is where you'll arrive. Taxis are waiting outside the (new?) train station which is a bit outside of the city center. They could drive you to the hotel (probably around 30 mins). Alternatively, there is apparently a local bus or you could use the hotel's free shuttle (leaving from the city center and used by the staff, too). The journey with both the local bus and the shuttle takes about an hour.
Mui Ne consists of two parts (which are of interest): Mui Ne fishing village and Mui Ne touristic center, the latter being closer to Phan Thiet (and called Ham Tien, I believe). A lot of hotels are located here, however, there is no real beach (except at very low tide). Consequently, the hotels and beach clubs offer sun loungers on a pool deck or on an elevated artificial beach and stairs down to the water. By the way: The Full Moon Village's sister hotel, Full Moon Beach, is located here, too, together with a lot of restaurants, bars/clubs and shops (the Full Moon Village's free shuttle stops here several times per day).
The Full Moon Village, in contrast, is located along the coast after Mui Ne fishing village (20-30 mins from Mui Ne touristic center) and has the advantage of a long stretch of beach. It basically consists of two parts, the restaurant and the beach club, both of them directly at the beach, and the villas with the pool area and a pool restaurant. The two parts are separated by a very small road which is barely trafficked.
The pool area and the villas are spacious and beautiful, and the property seems to be very well maintained. The bathroom was of reasonable size, and we liked it, even though there was no shower curtain. The restaurant (vietnamese and western food) is good, too, and offers quite a few vegetarian options as well (expect around $15-20/person/meal incl. cocktails and wine). The staff, even though a few of them barely spoke English (however, don't forget that you're in Vietnam), was always friendly and was, after having crossed the language barrier, able to manage diverse extra wishes if necessary. Furthermore, Silvian, the GM, was always around to help if needed, and it seemed that he's a very good relationship with his staff. Indeed, he did a great job. Finally, the biggest asset is probably the beach (but don't expect a clean beach all along the stretch) and the beach club, offering, among others, surfing (including wind and kite), kayaking, and sailing (many activities are included in the room price). I booked a kite lesson with instructor Steve (from Hawaï, 65 years old and still in a great shape) and had a wonderful time - loved it! Thus, if you're into watersports, this is the place to be - and if you like beaches, of course!
After all the good news, here come the cons: We were staying in a two bedroom villa which we had on our own (the second room was not occupied and, thus, locked). That was, of course, great and we enjoyed the space and the secluded garden (all the villas have their own secluded outdoor area), especially in the evening, while reading a book or watching a movie (great choice!). And if we had stayed in such a villa with friends, that would have been nice too. However, if we had stayed here with strangers, the experience would probably have been different, as the common areas (living/dining room, garden) do not offer any kind of "in-villa" privacy. Thus, we suggest asking the hotel whether the second room will be occupied or not (though we can't comment on the bigger villas) before you book - if this is an issue. In any case, you would probably want to head for the pool or the beach anyway, as we did, so that this shouldn't be a major problem and prevent you from coming here.
Furthermore, one room's bathroom has some kind of a small window (carved wood with gaps), right under the ceiling, that is open to the common areas. Sitting in the living room, you'd actually be able to hear what's happening in your neighbor's bathroom. Finally, the other room's bathroom has the same kind of open window, but this time to the garden. Hence, at night, you'll have plenty of bugs or mosquitos flying into the bathroom if you light a lamp (simple mosquito nets in front of the window would be helpful). It is worth noting, however, that you have mosquito nets around the bed, but, additionally, more could be done by the hotel (such as offering repellent of whatever kind in the common areas which cannot be closed entirely - again, carved wood with gaps). Last but not least, the sun loungers on the beach, in contrast to the ones by the pool, need a "face lifting".
Nevertheless, we'd definitely recommend this hotel, and we would come back. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, the laid back wibe, and the nice beach with the wild coastline. Thank you, Full Moon Village, for a wonderful stay!

We've chosen this resort due to its locations and reviews. It's a bit out from Mui Ne town area but this is actually a big plus. You get to have the beach only for yourself. The beach is much nicer and wider than the one in Mui Ne. You can use SUP and kayaks free of charge. The pool at the resort is very nice and big and the kids had a blast in it. We've stayed at 2-bedroom villa in which bedrooms had AC while living room is open with ceiling fans. Villa was nice and big. There were a few issues. First was that we had a lot of mosquitos in our living room - probably due to the rain we had during our stay. There was a storm passing at the time of our visit and we had rain on and off all three days of our stay. But we still managed to do some fun stuff - sledding on the Red Dunes, jumping into the waves, ridding a local bus to Mui Ne. Second- food choices for breakfast could be improved. It would be better to have few good options to choose from the menu instead of a buffet style which was sadly very average. And last- water pressure is really low and it takes forever to take a shower plus there was no hot water.

We felt surprised after checked in at Full Moon Village for our 3 days 2 night trip at Mui Ne on March 2016. The villa was stunning with its spacious living hall , full equipped kitchen bar, in house & outdoor Jacuzzi ! Varity buffet breakfast meal & nice dining environment which is just facing on the beach. The mango shake & Vietnam coffee are taste good & reasonable price. Good place to chill out in the restaurant for our lunch & dinner meal.
There are free shuttle bus from Full Moon Village to Mui Ne (half hour journey) and Phan Thiet town (1 hour journey). The staff will provide you the shuttle bus schedule during your check in time. Excellent service, helpful & friendly staff ! There are massage service upon we make a request. The massage fee around VDN300,000++ and you can having it at your own villa & even at beach area !
Peaceful and private paradise to stay in with great service from Full Moon Village Resort!
We had spent a relaxing & pleasant stay & it is worth for money! Highly recommended of Full Moon Village!

We spent five nights at Full Moon Village. (We're a family of four, two adults and two kids, ages two and four.) Overall, it was a fine trip. The first thing to note is that Silvian and team did a solid job as far as service was concerned. We exchanged several emails in advance of our stay and had a few rather unusual requests, such as a car seat for our transport from HCMC to Mui Ne and back again, which was $140 each way by van. We also asked if the team could move a giant umbrella so that I kids could get shade while swimming in the plunge pool one day -- three people were at our villa within minutes. On our checkout day, Silvian brought our bill to us in the villa, which was helpful, and he also greeted us with cool towels and drinks as well.
The villa itself was good for our family and having the full kitchen was a plus as we brought some kid meals (macaroni and cheese, for example) to have on hand. The gardens too were impressive and meticulously maintained, the big pool also was nice though relatively warm. Our main fault of the place was the heat -- and this had nothing to do with the hotel. It was 90 degrees plus every day and the common areas of the villa have no A/C as it was only available in the bedrooms. By 9am on most days, we were roasting and rushing to the ocean or pools. Or sometimes we'd just seek refuge in the bedrooms. Still, the kids loved having the little plunge pool right out the front door. (So too did a few frogs, who decided to hop in overnight; we fished them out each morning.) My wife had a tough time in the breakfast area because this too was without A/C, which made for a sweaty experience. Note that the common areas of the villa are also open to the outdoors. So we had a few big insects and a fair number of lizards join us for the vacation; they chirped in the rafters and left little poops around.
Another disappointment -- again, nothing against the hotel specifically -- is that the beach was loaded with trash if you walked in either direction. Yes, the hotel made a pass and cleaned this every morning, it seemed. But a two-minute walk in either direction was a disappointment - random sandals, plastic utensils, bottles, caps, etc. This seems to be the way of the world.
We did one day trip to the white sand dunes. This was about 30 minutes away by car. The hotel staff expertly arranged a taxi for us and the driver waited as we toured around. This was pretty cool and worth doing, we thought. Good pictures and good fun to climb the dunes with the kids. (One recommendation is to get there early in the day before the heat sets in.)
The food was OK to good. Toward the end of the visit, we started to exhaust the menu as we were doing most meals from the restaurant. (There aren't really any other options if you don't have transportation, which we didn't.) Breakfast buffet was just OK.
I am an American expat living in Tokyo and have traveled throughout Asia for my job. I've stayed at five star hotels in China, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. With that as a backdrop, I'd say the place was all right though you should not expect ultra high end. But compared with the rest of Vietnam, this place is good. It's important to notice that most of the reviews of Full Moon Village are coming people who have been bumping around Cambodia or Vietnam and then land here for some R&R. It's no surprise that they are dropping the five star ratings left and right given that. For our family, this was the sole destination and an escape from home in Japan, so we had a different perspective.
