Very good hotel to use when away with work. Staff very friendly and breakfast starts from 730 and is very nice and a quick service. plenty of parking at the front of the hotel. Rooms are tucked away from main room so quiet.

Stayed overnight in this very pleasant hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was fine and breakfast well presented. Nice base to stay. Would certainly use this hotel again if in the area.

Had a gammon but it was very fatty and grisly. Our friend had hot chicken wings which were oily and not nice and was served with a Greek side salad which was not on the menu, this was awkward as she is allergic to most fruits. My wife ordered fish and chips as the lady on the next table had... More

Look I really don't think these people eat out much. They moaned that the 10 oz Gammon steak had fat around the edges. listen not all gammon steaks are like the ones you can buy in supermarkets with the fat cut off...real gammons have the fat which gives it flavour. If you do not want to eat it, don't. The... More

Staff were friendly and helpful but the room was OK for a night. I'd be disappointed if it was booked for a holiday. The food was very good when we arrived but as we were at the end of breakfast time it was a bit over done.

Staff were friendly, the room was comfortable, Good breakfast although limited selection, if requiring other than a full breakfast. Evening meal was plentiful, the veg/salad selection with the meat/ fish etc was not what was expected. The main courses are very large, we struggled to finish them.

Excellent location for the wedding at Broom Country House 10 mins walk up the road. This is why we chose the pub/hotel. We had a single room for our adult son and a single room for sister in law and a family room for ourselves which had a 4ft 6 Double bed and 2 singles, which was fine for us... More

We arrived to a warm welcome and the room was fine for our stay. After a quiet nights sleep we enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Great hospitality! The black pudding was excellent. Plenty of parking and the free Wfi worked. Would stay again.
