The Lake Forest, with period and authentic interiors is located in a live coffee estate on the bunds of the Yercaud Lake. The guest bungalows are set in the "Eastlynne Farm Estate" in and around the "Bungalow" built during early 1800s by Henrietta Charlotte Rosario who was residing in the Shevroy hills. Today's Eastlynne Farm Estate was once known as "Rosar" on the Camphells Road, named after the owner. ONE OF THE FIRST PET FRIENDLY PLACES IN YERCAUD

Had gone for a short break with family to Yercaud - using my Club Mahindra membership. The resort is very picturesque, the rooms were spacious and convenient. The Restaurant food service was very good - both taste, quality and service. The resort allows you to bring your pets and also provides a bedding for pet in your room, and food for pet, which is great ! The one issue we had was the TV telecast was not working...a big problem, as post dinner there is nothing much you can do in resort, and not having TV entertainment, is a set back. Also the TVs were old 20 year old models. These should be modernised.

We travelled with a family of 10 people. We have checked the property on internet and booked it via a website. After reaching the property we can see there are different segments of rooms which was not reflecting in the website. When we asked about this to the hotel people , none replied properly and said all the rooms are booked already. This was the worst experience I had ever. The rooms that were provided to us was dull no air and a stinky spell was there. But I could see later on that many rooms were empty even the cottages. After booking this hotel I asked the management to send the pictures of the rooms but they said all the pictures are in the website but the rooms where we stayed those room photos are not there in their website. Sorry my experience was very bitter with the stay.

Beautiful colonial property. Takes us back to the British era. Still the rooms have the old world charms. Lovely location and views. Restaurant staff brilliant. I would like to specially thank the gentleman who helped to fix the battery issue of car. They charge 30% service charge mandatorily for room service which I found weird even more when questioned as per new govt rules and no answer from staff. Bell boy will move around the room till you tip him. Spa expensive. Hence a mixed bag about the hotel. Not much to explore in Yercaud. 3 hrs and you can wrap your sightseeing.

A well maintained heritage hotel nestled in a coffee and tea plantation made our stay really enjoyable. The rooms retain their old world charm and premises of the hotel is well maintained The wood fired pizzas during dinner time were really good. The buffet breakfast@Rs300 is quite good. All other meals are a la carte. But if the hotel occupancy is good then there is a buffet spread for lunch and dinner too.All three meals for under 1000 per person. On the second day of our stay we enjoyed the 3 meal package.

This was my third visit in less than 2 years in this property which obviously means I liked it enough. Pay attention to the key word "liked". On this visit the rooms were dingy, smelly, bathroom seats yellowish, old laundry outside our room, fridge not working, linen dirty, curtains shabby and staff non caring, until I called them at 4 p.m. and mentioned about my third visit and that I will post the exp in social media. Post that they changed our room and things improved. Ideally I shouldn't have posted this as they finally obliged but I felt it's my moral responsibility to let my fellow travelers know the pathetic state of this resort. Even their attraction pizza with movie in the evening was disaster as the pizza tasted horrible and on top we caught the chef red handed, handling veg pizza after dealing non veg pizza without a wash or change of gloves. Team Indeco you have surely lost 5 customers (group of 5 friends) and please please buck up so you don't loose more before a decent property goes down completely.
