Absolute satisfaction because the hotel is cozy and the staff incredibly professional and polite. Food and wellness is perfect and even massages helped us to relax. I really recomend this hotel and area...
It is a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The room was small but clean and very well equipped. The resraurant is very good, the food was excellent and the selection was sufficient. The only negative was the very weak wifi. The hotel is situated very close to the ski area.
Old cottage recently made modern place to stay. Still Nordic style of corse but new little and modern tree houses are in place - very cute. Kitchen much than better, service on high level. Only small negative moment - bathroom washbasin - small place under water tap to wash hands or teeth.
Pleasant service, great food. We have spend there 4 days, all the people who are taking care of you are very sweet. It was a pleasure to spend a time there. And food was just excellent. We had only breakfast and dinner, but it was hard to taste only one kind of food. Everything was just great. We had one vegan with us, and there was no problem to prepare special meal just for her
We’ve booked one of the new houses here. There were almost nothing in the room: teapot, but no cups and no water and actually no tea. Moreover there are no shops nearby, so we had to boil the water to have at least something to drink. Almost no cleaning service: they didn’t change towels even on request. One day we left towels on the shower as was mentioned in their information booklet in the bathroom, but when we came back in the evening we’ve found our dirty wet towels on the same place. Floor was not cleaned as well. Also there is no heating places where you can dry your ski clothes and equipment. They have heating only on the ceiling which is not convenient at all. There is a bio-fireplace in the room but no liquid to set the fire Definitely not worth that money!
Our family with two kids (12 and 14 years of age) stayed for five nights with half board. The rooms and the hotel is in nice condition and the location is great close to the slopes. Our family room was quite small but neat and tidy. The staff is friendly. The dinner buffet is "Central European Style" and not really to my taste.
I spent few days with my family and I do not recommend this very expensive hotel to anyone except the most undemanding customers. Rooms are rather small and are basically unfurnished. Very noisy. Restaurant is really bad in terms of quality and variety of food, this is unfortunately true for breakfast and dinner. The outdoor sauna and heated tubs are nice and scenographic but very unpractical and mostly useless. Personnel is generally rude, as expected. All in all a very disappointing stay considering the exorbitant price we paid.
Stayed in Bjornson’s tree house and enjoyed it very much. Great location, on the edge of the forest and next to the ski slope and cable car. Stylish, warm and comfortable wooden cabins provide all necessary facilities ..and the great views.. although a kettle and and a dry room to store boots and skiing equipment would be a good addition. Staff friendly, food (buffet style) good for 3 star hotel, sadly .. there was never enough pancakes for all :( ... Overall, a great location and skiing facilities for all ages and levels .. would definitely recommend it.
Stayed at this hotel in one of their tree houses over Xmas period 2019. The website depicts the treehouses in a secluded wood, the reality is somewhat different. We were fairly lucky as ours overlooked the slopes but most do not. The majority are not private or secluded as all! The ones at the start of the path are practically in the car park and as the curtains are not big enough for the windows, for some unknown reason, you will have no privacy at all. The hand rails that lead upto the treehouses are flimsy and bordering on dangerous as most have long drops to the ground and not suitable for families with young children. Wifi needs upgrading, by time everyone rtns from slopes Its practically unusable. Food was very limited. Variation on a theme everyday, cheap cuts of meat done stew style becomes boring after 3rd straight day, where is the pasta? This is a ski resort... The staff in restaurant were hard workers and friendly. No free drink included with meal and even water is charged for. You cannot control the heating in your log cabin and when we enquired about this we were fobbed off by reception and maintainance man. No hot water in shower one afternoon and luke at other times, last thing you want on a ski holiday. Worryingly the wooden chalets without a balcony have no fire escape as the patio door has been blocked from fully opening and gap is too small for a human to squeeze through. Note that no kettle, hairdryer or toiletries other than hand soap (no shower gel or shampoo) are supplied in the treehouses. Reception are terribly slow and cleaners do the bare minimum unless asked. Had it not been for the location of our particular chalet (E2) overlooking the piste we would have been extremely dissatisfied with our experience. The hotel has the potential to be nice but the management need to do more even if it means reducing profits, it will pay dividends in the long run.…
Excellent staff, tasty food, nature. Rooms were clean and cleaned every day. Not far from Ski slopes, you cane njoy outdoor jakuzzi, or just walk. Food i served buffet style and you can order also meals ala carte. Recommended place.
