I have used Wayford Bridge for 3 or 4 nights a month throughout 2015 and always been an enjoyable stay. The hotel has been bought out and in recent months the new owners have been investing a lot of time and money in turning it into a premium hotel. New beds and pillows are being rolled out throughout and in... More

Situated on the main road from North Norfolk and Norwich this is an Inn that is undeniably very convenient. We (two of us) called in on the off chance on a weekday lunchtime. A large car park and a reception/bar as you walk through the main entrance make life easy. The bar restaurant was nicely populated, mostly older patrons. We... More

I have never booked to have Xmas lunch anywhere before so was a little worried about what to expect however the staff were warm and welcoming, food was excellent and the whole experience was relaxed and friendly. The only negative comment was when they tried to force even more food on us when we were fit to burst! Thank you... More

We live locally to the Wayford Bridge inn yet have not visited in years. Following an impromptu lunch on 2nd January, we were pleasantly surprised by the refurb, attentive service & good food. We were 4 adults, 2 children and a dog, all made to feel very welcome. We looked at the private dining area available to hire before we... More

We did a review on this restaurant in April 2014 when owned by Marco the food and service at that point was bad. We went back for lunch yesterday 17/01/16, and the improvement was 100% better on food, service and the comfort of the restaurant the kitchen is about to be refurbished so I feel it can only get better... Just returned from a last minute break and loved it. It's our first time away with our dog so limited to where we could stay and for £65 didn't know what to expect but it ticked every box. Lovely staff without exception, comfy cosy lounge and bar sitting by the fire, lovely food and great breakfast and even the dog got well... More

Just got back from the Watford bridge inn that my mother-in- law booked for myself and other half as a surprise for Christmas. When we arrived we were so impressed by the lay out, cosy, friendly people a home away from home. The staff were great with great attention to detail. Karen the new owner was brilliant taking care of... More

My wife and I stayed at the Wayford Bridge for a weekend at the beginning of December 2015. It has recently changed ownership. The new owners were very nice and welcomed us to the hotel. We have stayed there before and were pleased to find that the room accommodation was at a high standard. The rooms are in the process... More

This was our third stay at the hotel. Its in an excellent location for walks; whilst we were there, we walked from Horsey windpump to the coast to see the seals and their pups and we caught the little steam train from Wroxham to Aylsham, an 18 mile round trip that allows you a couple of hours in the town... Homely and warm atmosphere thanks to Karen, the new owner, who welcomed us and provided a lot of good tips for exploring Norfolk. Food was good and rooms are currently being refurbished. New rooms are clearly better but we could not complain about ours. The Broads in this warm winter looked beautiful and relaxing. Really worth a visit.
