You generally get what you pay for and this place proves the point . 5 pretty basic rooms . Breakfast average with the worst scrambled egg I have ever had after asking for it to be under done. Also they wont even book you a taxi which was very odd. However clean and well situated with a nice bar and...

Dear CanaryHucks, Thank you for taking the time to post your review and staying with us. It was lovely to meet you but I am a little disappointed with regard to the eggs as our breakfasts are very well regarded. I have spoken to our breakfast waitress and she is adamant that you asked for soft scrabbled egg and that...

Booked for New Year's Eve meal pre selected food choices. On arrival greeted by friendly staff and although they could not find the booking they quickly set up a table and managed to find the reservation. Food was of an excellent standard with the same standard of service. Bagpipes were playing at midnight, great touch to the end of a...

We stayed here for two nights to celebrate New Years Eve and we were very impressed. It started well with first impressions of the inn when we walked in through the lovely snuggs. Check in was great and we were shown to our room by one the the very friendly and helpful staff. Turned out all the staff were brilliant...

The new owners have clearly invested a lot both financially and emotionally in the hotel and they seem to be starting to reap the rewards. The hotel is warm and welcoming; the staff are attentive and its good to see them in uniform. The bedrooms have been/are being refurbished and ours was to a high standard, though it was small...

Great to see that all the hard work the owners and staff have put in is starting to pay off. We had a great Christmas Eve really traditional Christmas cheer. The place feels homely with the fires going and the owners dog Benn chilling out by the fire . So nice to see the pub is dog friendly and welcomes...

This is a pub with rooms but it is fine for a few nights. The room was ok even if a little small but the food is fine and served in traditional surroundings. The hotel is situated near Stalham and is well placed for the Norfolk Broads.

This could be a great hotel but lacks attention to detail, we were shown up to our room by a very friendly staff member who upon entering the room first asked us if everything was OK even before she put the lights on, so we couldn't have commented. As it happened our family room for 3 was very spacious, even...

Greeted by courteous staff, friendly and helpful. Good room and comfortable bed. Good food served in Restaurant and excellent breakfast. Wine list a bit pricey and needs some cheaper wines.Three very relaxing areas to use and one with a log burning fire. Overall- impressive. Close to many amenities and The Broads
