Go Traveller and someday you will tell that here is found a delightful hotel. Celtic Ross is a warm, welcoming destination hotel in West Cork. We stumbled on it where a ribbon of road is thrown across the rolling Atlantic as it insinuates its way into the little village of Rosscarbery. Rosscarbery, just off the N71 Cork- Skibbereen road, is... More

Stayed in the Celtic Ross for 2 days last week. From making the booking to checking out everybody we dealt with was so helpful. We had a sea view room and it was very comfortable. The refurbished dining room/bar is wonderful and bright. Breakfast was good with a plenty of choice but one of two dinner was a little disappointing.... More

Thanks to all Celtic Ross staff for their great service last weekend. Sophia, Paul, John, Shauna, and Brett made the hotel feel like a home from home. Food was fabulous as ever. Missed Eileen at breakfast but Shauna carries on a great tradition. Continued success to Neil and his team.

The amount of messages I got from people stating that the food was "the best they ever had at a wedding". We got black pudding and a fish vol au vent for... More

Set in the Tower Suite with views of the Rosscarberry bay we indulged in what can only be described as a real foodie experience. Using great vintage mismatched pretty afternoon tea sets, we dived into a feast. Using locally sourced ingredients we were served with a Generous assortment of savoury sandwiches, dainty pastries, scones with cream and a mixed berry... More

Been here twice for an evening meal when we have had friends over from the UK. The food is excellent. Great atmosphere, good value for money and right on the waterfront. Good for families looking for something to eat after a day out in beautiful West Cork

My partner and two young sons (4 and 5) stayed at The Celtic Ross for two nights this past July and we had an absolutely amazing time. The thing nobody tells you about having kids is that for the most part, it means that you won't be welcome in fancy hotels. This is the exact opposite at the Celtic Ross,... More
