The hotel is located perfectly for traveling around the Tarragona region, although it is quite difficult to get to from Reus Airport; as far as I could tell there was no direct bus or train route and taxi drivers seems to monopolise this and overcharge. The taxi to the hotel will cost 20-30 Euros from the airport depending on a...

Family of 4, stayed here August 2016. Looks exactly like the pics nothing special. No balcony or terrace only high windows with AC. Beds were comfy and maid came daily. Friendly staff. Pool is smaller then pics, not enough sunbeds, breakfast buffet was ok if you like continental food, lunch menu was limited and we only ate once there at...

Much more basic than I would have expected from a 4-star Mercure. The restaurant doesn't open until 8, and there is no bar in which to sit and relax with a beverage. They aren't open for lunch either. The TV had no stations in English, so we complained and eventually got BBC World News, but nothing more. They claimed Euronews...

Stayed here for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Mercure Atena Aventura. The location is pretty quiet. Vila Seca appears to be a quiet residential area which is predominantly Spanish speaking and not very touristy. There are a few nice bars and restaurants close by. The hotel is about a 10 min drive to Salou or 40...

This hotel has a few contradictions which make it hard to judge. Firstly, the staff we encountered were excellent. The room was a decent apartment on the 8th floor but we had to pay a supplement. This has a terrace of sorts but it was very bare and more like an internal room minus a roof. The view was horrible...

We found lots of centipedes in our first room. We were moved to another room on the 8th floor. There were still centipedes. The lobby was nice looking, but the rooms were old and rust was everywhere. The beds were lumpy and there was no water the next morning, even though they remedied that within 10 minutes. Service was great,...

This is quite a nice hotel and in a good location for going to PortAventura. We arrived fairly late and had two nights there. The room was reasonable but fairly basic and minimalist. The beds were OK but pillows were thin and it was difficulty adjusting the aircon and we felt quite cold. There was a bath but it was...

Went for a week and loved it from the start. Great staff very clean and fresh hotel Internet is rubbish but the pool and bar are perfect so get off the laptop and go for a dip. Air conditioning works really well no trouble sleeping and a few bars and restaurants in walking distance. We'll be back soon

Based on the accor hotel pages the hotel looks like perfect place to stays in. The reality was a bit of nightmare. The endless queues in the reception for every single thing becomes my hobby - check-in (10 minutes), problems to be solved, things to be repaired, check-out (15 minutes). I guess one receptionist for such a big hotel is...
