Room was spacious and comfortable with nice little touches. Breakfast was delicious - especially the homemade scones and brown bread - I took some with me for a snack later on in the day! Margaret was lovely and made the whole stay special. Thanks so much, hope to see you again!

Not far from the center of the village: shop, bars and folk village. Car is not necessary. The sea is not far (follow the river). Bus stop about ten minutes from the house. Owners are nice people and helpfull.

Glencolumbkille is a lovely and quiet place with amazing views. In addition to this, I could not be happier of having chosen this B&B. Rooms are very good. Yes. But I would say that the best part of our stay was sharing some time with Margaret and Martin, the owners. They make you feel at home and can give you... More

My wife and I stayed here for two nights recently, we arrived cold and wet and were immediately led into the guest lounge and served hot tea and homemade scones in front of the blazing fire, The hosts couldn't have done any more for us from start to finish, they were on hand offering us advice on local walks etc.... I traveled solo from Canada and arrived by bus. I stayed at Teach Gleann Dobhair for three nights in late October 2015 while I was on an Irish language course at Oideas Gael. The B&B was booked for me by the school when I requested a B&B placement upon registering. BOTTOM LINE: The house is very nice and the price... More

I stayed here for a week while on an Irish language course. This property was booked for me by the school when I requested a B&B placement upon registering. BOTTOM LINE: A great option whether you’re in the area for Gaelic classes or other reasons. The house is very nice and the proprietors are happy to talk to you in... More

A superb one night stay in this cosy B&B. Rooms are very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was one fit for a king! Freshly baked scones and brown bread and a full Irish breakfast! The host (Margaret) was extremely friendly and would get you anything you needed. She also organised a lift for us to the local pub. Overall,... More

I' ve stayed here for only two nights and felt very welcome the moment I arrived. This place is perfect: friendly helpful hosts, cosy room and filling breakfast, wonderful surroundings for walking and enjoying mighty Donegal. Thanks for a great time.

At the end of a great day touring, we found this B & B which was just a stone's throw from the village where we enjoyed visiting with locals at the Glenhead Pub. We had a private room with an ensuite and a key, but we really enjoyed the interaction with the owners. They were very kind and welcoming and... More
