We stayed at Masseria Tenuta Deserto for ten days in september. A lovely location in a green environment. Very friendy people! Near the beach (ao Specchiolla) and pretty villages like Ostuni, Lecce. You can have dinner at the clubhouse or go to one of the restaurants in San Vito Normanni or Carovigno. Plenty of tips avalaible via the Masseria.

I would say if you want to enjoy a timeless place in the middle of a wonderful "desert", it's the place to book! I went with my family and had a great time! You need a car to visit Puglia and then you can also chill at la Masseria and meet the owners, very nice people! The best is to... More

Wow, what a wonderful time we had at Tenuto Deserto. Very hard to leave this place after 9 days of staying there. Tenuto Deserto is a good base to see all the great places at Puglia. We have been to different places in Italy but Puglia will be our favourite. Especially the stay at Tenuto Deserto. What a nice owner... More

We stayed at the Masseria Tenuta Deserto for the Easter long weekend and it was great. We had booked I Ciliegi, but prior to arriving, Sveva and Riccardo offered to upgrade us to L'Ulivo for the same price. As we were three adults and one toddler, we welcomed the upgrade, and the space was larger than we had imagined. We... More

We stayed for 3 weeks during the summer 2015. The place is so beautiful! Just only nature among the tenuto, no traffic noise, no pollution anywhere, The swimmingpool, the houses and the gardens are very nice, can't be better. We hope we can come back next year! The owners are very kind and helpful!

We stayed in iL Limone, it was an ideal size for our party. Well equipped, especially with baby equipment such as bath, high chair etc. The pool is fantastic for young children,... More

When you look for a real authentic place, quiet and placed in nature, then Tenuta Deserto is the one. The lovely owner Ricardo and Sveva do their best to make your time on their property to a great stay and look for all you need, even they are very flexible and accompanied us to hospital. We returned to Tenuta Deserto because we remembered it as a perfect place to relax and enjoy this beautiful region. We were delighted to see that we remembered well. The mansion and grounds were as always magical - during this visit we had more time to appreciate the pool and its lovely setting as a great alternative to the seaside... More

Four of us stayed here for a week, including my mother who is 92. The masseria is really beautiful and the house we stayed in - Il Mandorlo - spacious and comfortable. The owners - Riccardo and Sveva - are present, friendly and helpful.

“Head our in the evenings to the towns of Lecce, Oustuni, Martina, Rotunda. The Italian old towns come alive after 8pm and are completely different than going in the day. Heading out at 5pm is a great idea as thats when all the shops start to open so you can hit the boutiques before dinner!”
