Wetland view park is an amazing place, off the beaten track and we'll worth it! Hosts were really lovely and welcoming. The Chalet we stayed in was so unique, and we just loved the design! Also very comfortable, with all the amenities inside. The meal we were served was simply delicious! We were also very lucky to be taken to...

Sally and Giff are a lovely couple and a fountain of information about the local area and history. I only stayed one night and the surroundings are indeed absolutely quiet excepting the sounds of nature. My only suggestion is that travelers and visitors remember to bring supplies as there is no store or restaurant anywhere near. The nearest place is...

We spent the Labour weekend here with my father-in-law who was visiting from the UK. The accommodation was perfect for us all - kids loved the mezzanine floor sleeping arrangements whilst Grandpa had his own space downstairs. Some fantastic walks from the chalet itself & beautiful beaches to explore only a short drive away - views are amazing! We had...

Wetland View Park is set in one of the most magical places in NZ. The Chalets are well designed, modern, warm and cosy and have everything you need. We were not very fortunate with the weather but that didn't stop us exploring the area. Giff even took us out in the rain to see the magical glow worm grotto. Sally...

One night stay and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Chalet accomodation was exactly what I was looking for. Warm welcome, comfortable bed, lovely meal with heaps of friendly conversation with the very knowledgeable two hosts. If you are close handy don't go past it. Ask them how the bees are doing.

The place is worth staying at. Great guests and the accommodation is very clean, well presented and well designed. We were just two of us but it easy to fit in a family in the chalet. The glow worm visit in a full moon evening was fabulous and Giff is a very knowledgeable host to have. Sally cooked a delicious,...

We spent 2 nights in one of the chalets. The accomodation is very well equipped, extraordinary clean and comfortable, offers all amenities you need and is very cosy. The birdlife and walks around the farm are incredible, the breathtaking beach is just 10 mins down the road (by car). This is what New Zealand should be like. Also, the long...

Thank you for that lovely review, I'm glad you had a good time.

What a fantastic place to recharge the batteries, beautiful accommodation, even the timber cladding of the chalet had a warm welcoming scent. The evening 3 course meal cooked by Sally and served to us in the chalet was delectable, with vegetables and fruit coming from the garden. Unfortunately we had only 1 night but enjoyed strolling through the gardens and...
