Touring around Sicily sounded an interesting idea and both my husband and I were looking forward to seeing the ancient sites and experiencing some great Italian food. Sites are a plenty, unfortunately on this tour the food was lacking big time. "Four star" hotel. Sorry it is not in this bracket at all. We spent three nights here, rooms big... More

Pass this one by. Nice sleepy fishing village, but hotel is ghastly looking. Unfortunately it does not improve on the inside. Rooms are very basic, MFI/IKEA type furniture, very dark. The food is terrible. Average pasta starter, but the main course consisted of a chicken schnitzel, with two slices of aubergine and a single piece of fruit for dessert. The... More

Hotel is nicely located, easy to reach but needs a renovation. Garage is double expensive as written on an outside placed advert (at the entrance of the garage). Beginning September were only a few guests using that hotel that breakfast room was not opened and you had to order your breakfast evening before to get it delivered to your room.... More

The choice of hotel was made by the tour operator who warned us that the 4 star rating was a bit inflated. After reading other reviews, I was prepared for the worst. The actual experience was a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious if a little bare bones in furnishing. The balcony was large with a view of the sea... More

Was recommended this hotel by a local friend of mine. The room was extremely spacious, with a big king sized bed, a huge bathroom. The furnishings are bordering on the basic but comfortable. We just decided to go to Sicily for a long weekend break and managed to find this charming hotel at a giveaway price. The breakfast buffet was... More

Where do I start? The courtyard fountains that are rusted and twisted? The Sky television that they don't have, even though they advertise it? The hard as a rock bed, matched only by the harder pillows? The blown lightbulbs in the ceiling that were never fixed? The safe that didn't work? The shower head on the adjustable rail that was...
