The Hotel is literally on the beach. Amazing view on the beach and the isles from my room with balcony. The hosts are very nice and friendly. The owner is fluent in English and provides a lot of tips about the area. Breakfast is good and I recommend to order a fresh orange juice. Food from the restaurant is excellent and you will find a lot of different food from Pizza, pasta, burger till fresh fishes from the local fishers or traditional Greek recipes. Finally, the rooms are very quiet and you can listen to the waves helping you to sleep easily.

What a beautiful place to stay! Although the rooms were basic, we had a balcony that looked out over the water and a magical little island that lit up with fairy lights at night. Having breakfast or dinner at the sea was marvelous. Breakfast which was included in the price was decent. We arrived very hungry after lunch on a Sunday and the chef cobbled together a decent meal for us. Would definitely stay here again.

In 2014 I wrote a review already, but it was about the restaurant of Hotel Solon, where we regularly had lunch. Since Tripadvisor didn't provide me with the possibility to review that restaurant, I wrote my opinion under the hotel. That time we stayed at Hotel Panorama, but getting older, I don't feel happy sometimes to climb up on the hillside. To change it to another hotel that doesn't require strenuous exercise whenever we walk home, was a necessity. The choice was manifest since we already knew Hotel Solon and liked the location, the gourmet kitchen, and the friendly staff. To be sure, before the whole family goes there for a holiday, we booked three days in April, and Hotel Solon went through the test with high fives. Unfortunately, but understandable the kitchen didn't operate yet since the season just started. We had a room, where the splashing of the waves was our lullaby, and the sound of the same waves welcomed us in the morning, together with the rising sun. Can you dream anything sweeter? In August we'll go to the same room, and I hardly can wait for that happy time.

Psihopathes of the hotel: 1.You have the sea on your feet but no organization and supervision on the sunbeds! They should have enough or all of them for their customers and not for anyone whose nose is on the beach! 2.It has a parking lot, but it plays to come an irrelevant at the restaurant or the beach and park inside a hotel! They should park outside on the road and the parking space should be available only for those staying in this particular hotel! 3. there was kindness from the owner's son Mr. Giannis and the girl at the beach service, the father should go to drink some tea better not to sit in the safe!! 4. In the fridge of the room you are welcomed with ice cream. Hotel Negatives: 1.Renovation yesterday! It's like you're entering a hospital floor, everything needs to be renovated, the internet lights are misleading! 2. In the morning moderate fly circulated in space without anyone watching to care about what was out of coverage!! 3. The cost of 75€ per night is too much for what I mentioned, 35€ max worth every night!

I've never seen a worse room like this. Crumpled walls, lime falls off walls, everything dirty, aged, you go back 40 years. The most horrible experience. I had a reservation for 5 days and left after the first day.

(+) The location is super. Staffs are helpful. The breakfasts were hearty and adequate. Especially, the hotel's facilities are favorable for families with children.
(-) However, the hotel's own beach area was not clean enough, I still can not say it was dirty. In addition, the music which was played on the beach was too loud and annoying for us.

The hotel is on the very beach. You can sit and have breakfast or dinner almost at the sea. The food is great, and it is plenty of it for breakfast. It is VERY clean. But it needs to be renewed. The furniture is old, mattresses too, I could actually feel the wires inside. Taps on the sink and bath also old. For hot water on the second floor you have to wait for ten minutes. WI fi was average. The staff was correct, the manager didn´t say hello whenever we met.

Awesome place, not only for couples, but families as well. Very reasonably priced, great breakfast. FYI, there's also a restaurant with good variety and nice food. Right next to the sandy beach (literally), and the proprietors are extremely nice people!!

Take your chance listening to stories of the friendly and experienced staff working here - they will make you enjoy the somewhat old school look-and-feel of the hotel. Rooms are always clean and the food is good enough although most of the dinners we had in other great tavernas nearby. And living literary on the beach is always a great thing!

Great food at a good price, very good local wine, extremely friendly staff, clean rooms... the sea is next to the bar and the bar is next to the sea :). A good place for a family vacation, I highly recommend it.
