We have not stayed in this hotel, though it looks most attractive, but we have finally managed to get to their roof terrace for a Czech beer.It has been beautifully renovated, and the attentive staff made us very welcome. There is a view over Tolo Bay to die for, and the beer was good too. We could have eaten there, but we had already made other arrangements. Maybe next year !
Didn't eat here, but visited the roof bar several times. Made for a pleasant start to the evening away from the street below. Great views as the sun goes down. Reasonable drinks prices, good range of different beers and currently we're considering quite how much more than an English 'single' is in a Greek Hendrickx and tonic! Cheers!
We join for a weekened with 2 small childrens . We requested double bed room but they gave us 2 single beds. The hotel is old,the breakfast was ok ,not too special ,the staff is friendly . The parking is behind the hotel but is a big problem for this area.,ost probably somebody else will block you. Good value for money, ideal hotel to only for 1 night..
Very friendly staff. Clean rooms, although very outdated. Breakfast was ok, not too special. Parking is located behind the hotel. All in all a very clean hotel, good value for money, ideal hotel to book 1 or 2 nights and travel around.
The hotel looks quite old, but has an old elevator, rooms quite large, freindly service at reception, breakfast buffet is quite small, but included in the price, price is ok, a small parking is available without extra charge, a lot of good restaurant nearby.
Firstly, if you are expecting the Four Seasons, you will be disappointed. However, if you are expecting a clean, basic hotel with an unparalleled location and very friendly / accommodating staff, then you will not. The location is across from the beach, the hotel is easy to find, it is very good value for money, it is welcoming, which is exactly what I wanted. Don;t expect a fancy breakfast, but you are getting what you are paying for - and I was very pleased with the experience and value proposition.
A very nice hotel, the bed is very comfortable and the food is good. The service is great. The view from the room is wonderful, you can see the Main Street with all the restaurants. I came with my group and I enjoyed the hotel very much. I will recommend it to my family and friends.
In all our years of traveling we have never had a situation so absurd and so surreal as we had with this so-called "hotel". How is it allowed to do business is beyond us. A group of 3 friends, we booked 2 rooms over a month prior to arrival. We even called to confirm our late arrival as we were arriving with motorbikes from Athens, and a girl with bad English had said "no problem". One could expect NOT to find problems. Yet no: upon our arrival, a woman - who I suppose the manager - informed us that she, and I quote (witnesses heard this) - "preferred to take in a large group and has booked us another hotel". We protested vehemently: we booked this structure because of the position and commodity for our motorbikes, and we were confirmed our rooms - and now this lady single-handedly decided that we would be good in another hotel of her choice? As in clear terms we were told we "had no choice and the things were like that, take it or leave it", we had to follow into this other hotel, which was not even on Booking, the site we used in order to make the reservation. The access was ridiculously narrow and up the hill (try taking motorbikes there!!) and the hotel was ridiculously old and absolutely inadeguate to the rate we were paying. Important fact: we booked rooms with seaview or city view at the "hotel" Epidavria, AND WE WERE GIVEN ROOMS FACING A WALL at the hotel of the choice of the Epidavria manager. At no point during the day we could see whether it was in fact day or not, it was as dark as a tomb, smelling heavily of mold - which made me sick for the entire stay as I had breathing problems. The hotel was dishonest with Booking too, using a technicality to cover their breach of rules (they never communicated to Booking that they were moving us, and they denied that we phoned them to advise of our arrival in the evening - placing the blame on us because we didn't inform them through Booking website: one would think that honesty still existed and that phoning the hotel was enough) and they got away with everything: the bad hotel they placed us in, the inadequate rooms, the mystery regarding the real cost of the second hotel, and offered no compensation whatsoever, not even as a gesture of class. Easily understood why. All they care about is collecting money, no honor whatsoever. Beware!!…
There's a roof garden for breakfast but the best view would be using the evening nite moonlight along with the lightened castle of the Bourgi castle. Dazzling times! Great times , best hospitality, n service. Fresh home made eggs, pitas, etc.
The hotel has a good location on the main street and very close to the beach. We found the staff very helpful. The hotel is also very clean,. the rooms were cleaned every day, they changed the towels every day too and the sheets every second day. Private parking available too. Strong wi-fi signal is a plus. Pretty good breakfast with several options, some of them being changed over the week. Large balcony and good sized room with air conditioning made this hotel to be a very good choice. Now, here are the little negative parts: No soundproof, so you can hear every noise, and we had a lot of it from a group of bad educated French students yelling on the lobby every night 'till the morning. Fortunately, this problem was solved after 2 nights when the French people leaved. The sea view was blocked by a building. I would recommend the hotel to my friends after the experience.…
