We had a fabulous stay with parents for 3 days. The junior suite was beautiful...almost got the feeling that you were on a film set. The pool and grounds and setting for dinner were beautiful and the food was out of this world. We had excellent service except on the last night (Friday evening) when we got offered a table... More

We had a lovely stay here and it's a spectacularly beautiful property. We had a junior suite and deluxe room, both in the Chateau facing out on the beautiful front vista. The rooms were gorgeous. The dining room was very good for one night out. The spa had pool that was great with many comfortable loungers. You had to make... More

We stayed at Chateau de Mirabeau for two nights and it was a delight. We took two rooms for the family, a junior suite and a smaller room. The junior suite was fabulous with large and well appointed bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The other room obviously somewhat smaller but still very nice. Both of our rooms enjoyed an excellent... More

Yes, it was a beautiful chateau on beautiful grounds. But way over priced. Also we felt nickeled and dimed several times. An example was a charge of 6 euros for milk to put in our 10 euro coffee! The bar prices were laughably high. Also there were numerous small things not tended to: a very weedy garden, no glasses for... More

When you arrive to this place, you can see a marvelous construction seated in great gardens , When you are inside it seems you have been transpoted in Louis XV age. The rooms are very comfortable and the view over the gardens. The spa offers many services in a quiet ambience. There are two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, very... More

We stayed at the Chateau on our way south to Spain. It was a real experience to do that, and we were blown away by the hotel's decor and ambience. It dominates the village of Mirambeau, but is well screened by woodland and a little tricky to find even with good satnav. It is a hugely impressive building set in... More

The hotel is an outstanding chateaux, recently renovated. It has all the charm you may want. The food is excellent. The best part for a sunny afternoon is the swimming pool: clean, quiet, and with a magnificent view of the palace from your resting chair.

We had a wonderful 5 day retreat to this peaceful and beautiful chateau. The staff were charming, the surroundings beautiful and a great base to tour the area and to visit many towns, vineyards and stunning vistas of Bordeaux.

Arriving at the chateau was quite breathtaking. The grounds were immaculate and the reception area with it's drawing room adjacent were magnificent. Our rooms were in the new block overlooking the pool and spa area. The staff were very professional and friendly. Dinner was delicious. We spent one sunny afternoon by the pool overlooked by the grand chateau - truly... More

It is a lovely building, with a really good (new) GM, however it is clear that some bugs need to be ironed out during this rebirth. The property was closed for 18 months for a refurbishment, recently reopening. The food offering needs to be modernised, and the wine list etc needs some fun added to it. The GM told us... More
