In the top 3 of places I have stayed. Beautiful chateau recently refurbished. We turned up in our old camper van with two childrenand had no evidence of our booking (booked while refurb was going on), I had my email and they sorted it out. We sat down while they made up the rooms. Then we enjoyed the pool which... More

Overall the chateau is very good but could only rate it average because of poor attention by the reception staff in room allocation - I booked a room with a bath and we were allocated a room in the basement of the adjoining wing to the hotel with a shower only and no explanation or apology. The room was dark... More

The environmenr is amazing, a unique castle/residence of the early XIX. The gardens, the salons, they all take you to the times of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic wars! Do not miss the Testaurant, very nice dining experience, very good sommelier!

'Gile S' has a spot on review there and I would like to echo what he said. it was either too much or too little. For breakfast, it took them a long time to attend to us and it seemed like we were inconveniencing them. I kept having to get up to either get cutlery or orange juice. They weren't... More

This is a seriously opulent establishment and if you have money to burn, this is the place to do it. The new wing has excellently appointed rooms with every comfort, at a price. The pool and spa were excellent. Worth trying the restaurant for one night, some of the food was interesting and delicious. The service was either over or under... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in mid July. Rooms, amenities, facilities and restaurant was great. Staff was also excellent, we stayed with our 12 week old baby and everybody was very helpful with sterilizing bottles, providing us with hot water, ... Only rated 4 stars because the prices of the bar are way too high. At the poolside I... More

We had a fabulous stay with parents for 3 days. The junior suite was beautiful...almost got the feeling that you were on a film set. The pool and grounds and setting for dinner were beautiful and the food was out of this world. We had excellent service except on the last night (Friday evening) when we got offered a table... More

We had a lovely stay here and it's a spectacularly beautiful property. We had a junior suite and deluxe room, both in the Chateau facing out on the beautiful front vista. The rooms were gorgeous. The dining room was very good for one night out. The spa had pool that was great with many comfortable loungers. You had to make... More

We stayed at Chateau de Mirabeau for two nights and it was a delight. We took two rooms for the family, a junior suite and a smaller room. The junior suite was fabulous with large and well appointed bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. The other room obviously somewhat smaller but still very nice. Both of our rooms enjoyed an excellent... More

Yes, it was a beautiful chateau on beautiful grounds. But way over priced. Also we felt nickeled and dimed several times. An example was a charge of 6 euros for milk to put in our 10 euro coffee! The bar prices were laughably high. Also there were numerous small things not tended to: a very weedy garden, no glasses for... More
