We only had one night but it was most enjoyable. Friendly and efficient staff and lovely food with beautiful outlook. The room was very comfortable and lovely and clean with lovely views over the gardens.

Greeted by friendly staff with a choice of tables - as it was warm and sunny chose the terrace with the views. A glass of Prosecco followed by an assortment of sandwiches, scones with jam & cream, an assortment of cakes and a lemon posset - all fresh and very tasty. Well worth a visit and will go again.

We recently had a 2 night break at the Ravenstone Lodge Hotel. It was excellent. The accommodation was reasonably priced and very comfortable with all the right facilities, including an excellent shower. The sitting areas were comfortable and the staff could not have been more attentive, friendly and helpful. There was also very good advice from the owner on local... More

We visited for a meal out just the two of us and we were very impressed. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and the staff very polite. We would definitely visit again. Highly recommended!

I've visited Ravenstone Lodge twice now, both to eat in the restaurant and in the stable bar. This is a nice place, in a lovely location with friendly staff and good food; but it’s not without its niggles. Our first visit to the restaurant was pleasant, however the menu is rather limited and you are not allowed to select dishes... More

Arrived late Friday evening, sun shining on the terrace with stunning views, great spot for an evening drink. Room not huge and shower tiny, couldn't get any air in the room either (but later found a fan in the wardrobe!). Friendly staff. The corker is the breakfast...home made granola, fresh baked bread and muffins. That's before you've started on the... More

We stayed for 3 nights last week and found it a most relaxing experience. We arrived an hour earlier than expected but were still warmly welcomed and shown to our room immediately. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with tea-making facilities and home made biscuits! The bathroom had a bath and 2 shower choices. The breakfast choice was extensive:... More

Excellent stay with very friendly people, greeted by the staff was a very good start even though we were early. Everything was better than expected and the food was better than we anticipated and a real bargain. Will recommend the Lodge to anyone who is in the area, we stayed for two nights bed and breakfast and had a great... More
