The never changing Pheasant Inn, our bedroom was worn, warm and really comfortable, downstairs everything is the same as last year and many many years before that. Breakfast is first class and served by a pair of lovely ladies. Dinner in the posh dining room was also superb

You can access the lake very easily, a 10/15 minute walk. But a slightly longer walk to get to an area where you can walk and/or sit by the shore. It is a big lake.

The Pheasant Inn is 1600 century coaching Inn and all the bedrooms are on the first floor. There is a no lift, so I would say it wasn't appropriate for a wheel chair user. However, there is a toilet on the ground floor for wheel chairs users close to the bar and dining room. I hope this helpful.
