Hotel Oasis on Caranero Island is awesome! It is a cute little hotel owned by a family that is so nice and helpful. They let us check in way earlier than usual check-in time because our flight landed in Bocas early in the morning, and helped us arrange fun tours. They offered us coffee when we arrived even though we...

This hotel has an excellent location a little removed from Bocas Town and Isla Colon, but close enough to get there with a quick two-minute water taxi ride. Beautiful views of some of the Bocas islands across the water. Jose and his family are so friendly and were very quick to help us any way they could- including telling us...

This is the cleanest place in town believe me, this is a true slice of heaven. We stayed at another place on our first night and were horrified by the unsanitary conditions. The next day we came here after reading the reviews and we were not disappointed. The location is central and ideal, the surroundings clean and safe and the...

We stayed just for 3 nights,, a quick and much needed rest. A lovely hotel,,, excellent prices, comfortable clean rooms, quiet also which is hard to get in bocas, and a really nice family feeling as well.. José and his wife and daughter always nearby to help or chat or call a 'lancha'. I think it's the only hotel on...

We enjoyed our spacious room, spent time in the comfortable lounge which was on the water, ate in the restaurant with our table on a pier into the water, watched the owners buy lobster from local fisherman, took cheap and fun water taxis, and walked around the island. One warning: the interior of the island reveals a very impoverished population. However, we...

Oasis is off the main island, so you have to take a water taxi to get there. That may be the only negative, but easily outweighed by all the positives. The customer service was above and beyond any expectations. Jose is a wonderful proprietor and friend. This is a family run establishment, which made it feel more like a home...

We spent 4 nights here in march as part of a longer trip around central America. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, if a little dark. The hotel is across the water from the main town, but is easily reachable by water taxi for a dollar each, and they can generally be called with about 5 mins notice. The...

We just stayed one night. The room we had was clean and had a nice balcony. Staff was very friendly and helped with every question. Breakfast was nice. The only thing is the location. “There's only one room with a balcony. It's also the biggest room, and a bit more expensive. The room also faces Colon, so you may hear a bit of music from local bars and water taxis. The balcony door blocked the majority of the sound.”

“The only way to get to and from is by water taxi from Bocas Town. But no worries, It's very quick and easy. I was a bit disappointed that it seemed impossible to get off the premises by foot to explore Isla Carenaro, However, tours are organized from the hotel to many wonderful sites/activities.”
