Got lots of itches. Maybe from the island but I guess also from the rooms/beds. Very loud until 01:00am. So take Ohropax with you. Kitchen is very old and bad equipped. Too expensive for its offering. Would not stay there again

It's a cute hostel with a nice, surf atmosphere. The kitchen is basic and the rooms and bathrooms are clean. There could be more hammocks at the beach. The bar at night is cost and the staff is friendly! We enjoyed our stay.

I went there with some friends the first weekend of december and the received us very well. In the night, we used the restaurant and it was so cheap, with such good food that we were so in love with it. At the next day, after we check out, we were still able to be on the beach and sit...

Don't stay there. Was bitten by sandflies all over. Next morning I went to reception to tell them about their bed bug problem. The women walked with me to the room, looked 2 seconds at the mattress and told me that its not bed bugs. After half an hour convincing her she finally believed me. Then one manager came asked...

Rented a SUP for the first time. It was $15 for 1 hour or $20 for 2. Had many great laughs and fell off a few times. Not the best place to learn because there are so many boats blasting by but it was fun. The water hammocks were lovely and if I am ever back in Bocas I would...

The communal area was actually not too bad as you had a beautiful view out to sea and were within good walking distance from a supermarket and a lovely restaurant. It also had comfy sofas and a good clean kitchen area to make food although there was sand all over the sofas. The washing service was brilliant and only took...

It was our first time travelling to Bocas and we wanted something more quiet away from hustle and bustle from Isla Colon, while still staying close by. Thus, Gran Kahuna was recommend by a friend, due to their strategic location. The hostel indeed has an amazing crystal clear beach just outside your doorstep and you are able to take a...

We stayed here two times. The first time we were in a room with AC which was nice. But the beds were terrible and the space was way to small for the amount of beds. The second time we stayed here (we had to make an emergency trip to san jose and left our stuff) it was even worse. We...

This hostel has a beautiful location right at the beach and in a chill area. If you are lucky with the weather like I was, you'll have the best few days enjoying doing nothing but swimming, reading and sunbathing! It was perfect for me as I wasn't looking to party, only relaxing. I didn't have much time there and I...
