We found Pine Valley Lodge to be a wonderful surprise, somehow out-of-the-way but right on Main St. in Halfway, OR. Hosts Tim and Shelly were so gracious and hospitable; we simply didn't want to leave. Highlights: super clean throughout, breakfast was ample and good, very comfy bedding, and delightful decorative touches everywhere made for a truly unique stay. Unlike "theme"...

We loved the Pine Valley Lodge. The rooms were comfortable, nicely furnished, and immaculate. There are many nice touches such as chocolates in the rooms, help-yourself items for snacking in the kitchen, a television in the lodge sitting room. Breakfast consisted of a wide variety of yummy choices. The rooms are quaint, but the facilities are modern. The staff went...

We love staying at the Pine Valley Lodge. The decor, atmosphere and location are all amazing. Shelly is excellent and very helpful. It's a great place to stay wether you are just passing through, or visiting the nearby Eagle Caps and exploring the forest. I would recommend this place to anyone!

We loved our stay at Pine Valley Lodge during our trip to Hells Canyon. Halfway is a neat little town and Pine Valley is a cool place to stay while there. Our room was great, the breakfast was first rate and our hostess was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Attention to detail. Good evidence of artistic construction; not kitchy. Excellent breakfast included, with engaging alert staff. Felt good to be there; sense of ambiance and unhurriedness; not in a hurry to leave. Will return. Nice town, nice people who ride bikes around town in a splendid valley.

We were traveling through town on a bicycle tour on a very hot day and managed to secure the queen suite. It was large enough to bring our bicycles in the room. This lodge is a series of buildings (previously homes?) connected by walkways surrounded by lovely flower gardens. There is a free laundry facility with detergent and fabric softener....

Quaint inn in a small town. We had the Front Porch Suite and my husband enjoyed having a sitting room and TV. Very clean. A new restaurant is opening up very close to the lodge The included breakfast is very yummy. Very thick towels. The heated bathroom floor was too hot for summer but we were told he couldn't turn...

Many friends and I stayed at different sections of the lodge. Very unique lodge. Some rooms are very large, and some are small and cozy, but not too small. The main lodge which all guests are welcome to dining and living room area are extremely large. The staff treat you like royalty at full breakfast. I would go out of...

This was a very clean and quaint place to stay. Shelli the lodge keeper will make your stay enjoyable! We stayed in halfway on our way through with our motorcycles to ride the hell's Canyon loop. This was a great ride and the stay at Pine Valley was very relaxing!

“Just make sure you let them know the number of people in the room. The Elk room can only handle 2 people at most but it is very nice.”
