This was my second time staying here & once again it was a wonderful experience. The staff was more than accommodating. Right on the beach, great views, walking distance to many restaurants, right in the heart of a classic Sicilian beach town. And perfect if you need wheelchair accessibility!

Stayed in Scoglitti to visit some relatives. Hotel Gabbiano was so helpful with organising transfers to and from the train station at Vittoria. They had a good breakfast buffet included in our package. The rooms are quite large and ours had a balcony that looked over the private beach that had sun lounges, umbrellas and a bar to keep you refreshed. Only negative was a strange smell in the bathroom.

The hotel is in a very good Location. It is straight on the beach so you can see the sea from your balcony and it is very central in scoglitti near to all the amenities. Loved the beach and included in your price there are bed chairs and umbrellas. They also give you beach towel and a lovely bag. Parking is amazing as well as you can leave your car in a safe place. On the downside the room are pretty but needs refurbshiment expeccially the toilets, showers and hairdryers, and some of the beds are not confortable. We didn't use the breakfast but 6 euros it is too much from what they give - we spoke with other guests. We didn't try the restaurant as well due to the reviews and also some of the feedback we got from some of the guests and the fact that it was always empty. The room are very clean but because it needs refurbishment sometimes you can see some cockroaches. I found one in my toilet. The beach is very good and the sea is spectacular the only bad things is that there are too many children around and the lifeguards around don't do anything - majority of the time it is impossible to enter into the sea as so many of them that make loads of noise and splash water everywhere. I think it is a very good 3 stars not 4 stars unless they do something more in the management of the hotel as it could be really great. Neverthless, our stays was very pleasant.

We stayed here as a couple from 20-23 September. The hotel itself is old its 50 years in business this year the rooms are basic showers are tiny but thats as negative as you could be about this little gem. Its located on the beach literally, our room was a sea view and what a view it was absolutely unreal. The restaurant is really nice over looking the sea, the food was lovely breakfast could be more varied but im not complaining as every morning i found plenty that i liked. The town around it is full of restaurants with plenty of variety, little shops and a supermarket, the port area is lovely for a late evening stroll to cool down after the day. The hotel has its own private beach which is great as you get your own loungers, umbrellas, towels etc there is also a nice little bar/cafe ran by the hotel on the beach with comfortable seating and umbrellas. Transfer from and to Comiso airport is 25 each way provided by the hotel which is a great service. On our last day we had to check out at 11 but on arriving at the reception we were told by Areangelo that we could have the room until our airport transfer at 6 pm free of charge to relax and enjoy our last few hours we thought this was a lovely gesture. The staff were very friendly and helpful and a special mention to Alessandray, Paola, the aforementioned Areangola and the man who worked on reception the three nights we were there whose name I have forgot for that I apologize to you. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again if or when I return to Scoglitti.
