Lovely hotel right in the centre of Warkworth. Staff are lovely, rooms clean and well decorated. Food in both the restaurant and bar are very good indeed. Breakfast is also brilliant and really sets you up for the day. The beach and the castle are a few minutes walk away and the local pubs are also very friendly places. We... More

We have just returned from a 3 day stay here and really could not fault it! The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was absolutely lovely with a huge super king size bed and spotlessly clean. Dogs were allowed in many of the rooms and in the bar and were no problem at all in fact we preferred to... More

We went out for a drive and ended up in warkworth when we seen a sign saying ciabatta with chips ....... we arrived to a very formal Sunday lunch setting ...... we only wanted a sandwich . Overall it was lovely just very formal need to be really relaxed ........ 4 waiters for 6 customers. The bill came to £17... More

This was a long weekend away. Research had turned up the WHH as a good option. It is right on the Northumberland coast with great access to the wild interior of the county and all the coastal areas. Room, cozy, comfortable, very clean with good facilities. It is an old place so though all the rooms are really good, you've... More

We've been several times to Warkworth House Hotel over the last few years and have always found the staff really friendly and helpful, the food excellent and the rooms clean and very comfy. The main reason we always chose this hotel is because we could take our Black Lab Storm. This time it was the first time we've been without... More

We stayed one night and thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel. We had a delicious dinner in the bar which was served efficiently by a lovely polite girl. Food was really well prepared. Our room (22) was beautifully decorated and was clean and comfortable. En-suite was great, too, clean and spacious with a large double shower. We will definitely revisit this... More

Second visit to the Warkworth house hotel, stayed in room 2 both times. Lovely comfortable & very spacious room. Breakfast is superb with great choices ranging from full English to vegetarian. Evening meal has a limited menu & quite pricey though.

Spent a night in a dog friendly superior suite. Spacious, clean room. No indication of previous canine occupants. Nice bathroom. Very comfy, huge bed. Bit of road noise with it being at the front of the hotel but it didn't bother us. Staff very friendly & welcoming. It's a lovely old stone building quite near to the river. 1/2 mile... More

We stayed in this lovely hotel and in terms of location it was ideal as was a quick 10 minute walk onto the beach and only 2 minutes into the town (if that). The staff gave us advice where possibly and were just generally very friend. We took our dog with us and were very understanding and they were allowed... More

Fabulous hotel that offered a very warm welcome for us both and especially our Bernese (Coco). We were looking for a while for somewhere to stay in Northumberland close to nice dog friendly beaches and lovely country walks that would welcome our dog. However, we didn't want somewhere that would banish the dog to the bedroom. Warkworth House has one... More
