Quite quirky accommodation. Good breakfast choice and well-prepared food. Central location opposite Warkworth Castle - well worth a visit. Well appointed suite, but double bed only 5ft and shower very slow to drain. Clean. Friendly.

We went for a few nights on the recommendation of a friend and had a lovely time. A warm friendly welcome, lovely room with a view of the castle, large bathroom and yummy biscuits and chocolates. For Happy Hour ( complimentary on the sideboard and not to be confused with the honesty bar ) the wine was good quality and...

Claire was a gracious hostess, with true & affable Novocastrian charm. Roxbro house is well-located & we stayed in its elegant Ethel Noble Room. Perhaps a little dated for some, but, for us, welcome change from irrepressible modernism - if for but a single night. Breakfast was good, and everyone in Warkworth village was so gracious and cheerful - a...

Stayed at Roxbro House over Easter in Georges room, booked direct to get the best price. The rooms are exactly as they appear on the website, so you do know exactly what you are getting. Nice bed linen, nice toiletries (tho hard to use, as they fall through the shower basket and are very hard to squeeze). Problem with bathroom...

We stayed here for two nights and were absolutely delighted. Our bedroom and bed were both very large and our bathroom was enormous. Both were quirkily and attractively decorated and furnished. The early evening glass of wine and cheese was a lovely touch. Breakfast was terrific. Freshly cooked food well presented and tasting delicious. Our hostess was very friendly and...

Our stay was short but very sweet. Really easy to find, the Roxbro is a fine example of a small hotel. Comfortable, with good and tasty breakfast choices, it certainly hit the spot for us. Our tastes run to quiet hotels offering a top notch night's sleep, and in this respect the Roxbro would be heard to beat. Considering all...

We stayed at Roxbro House on a Sunday night, we arrived early but were able to leave the car and go and have a picnic and walk before we checked in at 4. The man who met us (I didn't get his name) was really helpful with suggestions for where we could go for dinner and letting us know that...

stayed in Geoffrey's Room, not ensuite but had private bathroom across the landing,my fault for not checking details of rooms as I would have preferred ensuite, but seeing we had a Living Social deal there wasn't a lot of choice left. Lovely breakfast all freshly cooked and staff were very helpful and friendly. A shame Warkworth Castle was closed during our...

Wonderful break, a gift and a lovely surprise. Excellent bed and breakfast, in terms of quality provision and welcoming hosts. We found it to be very relaxing and the whole house demonstrated attention to detail. Would really recommend a visit. Had a fabulous time and enjoyed the room and the breakfasts very much. A hidden gem, thank you.. 😊
