Great location in Warkworth, had a lovely cosy room for two facing the castle, good breakfast with plenty of choice, staff very friendly and helpful. We were here for a friends special birthday, will certainly book for a longer break next year.
Don’t let the small reception area put you off. I booked 3 rooms; 2 singles and 1 twin and all the rooms were immaculate, each with an excellent walk in en suite drenching shower.

As far as I know they only let certain rooms for people with pets, Northumberland pubs allow dogs if they are well behaved, give them a call and ask.
There was certainly a couple with 2 dogs in the bar when we stayed.
