Quiet hotel on the edge of the Tramuntana mountains.
Great staff (led by Anna) who are very friendly and always give their guests everything they need for a relaxing holiday with a smile. With lots of pets, as you would expect on a very well-kept farm, the complex is located in the middle of a green oasis. Fresh regional breakfast. Very comfortable beds, we slept well.
Ideal starting point for hikes, trips to the surrounding area and to Palma. Esporles is adjacent. A nice, manageable place with great bars and restaurants.
We travelled with a dog and were always welcome everywhere. Unfortunately the house was still in "hibernation" and the restaurant was still closed. Rooms are not heated, and with single-digit night temperatures in early March, stone houses unfortunately cool down a lot and it gets cold. A fan heater was provided.

Wonderful spacious funkily decorated rooms. High ceilings, view of the mountains, little kitchen, giant comfy bed (with 2 single duvets). Then there's outside, loads of beautifully curated space and activities i did not use, and cute animals pottering about. The restaurant serves a good included breakfast in the morning sun. Lovely friendly staff too. Only downside is you need a car to get anywhere (there's an occasional bus to Palma that takes about an hour), and their website is frustrating and difficult to navigate. Booking.com is easier.

We had the greatest time at Lofthotel Canet. The rooms are awesome and super clean. The team is friendly and the food was delicious. It is a perfect location to start hiking trips all around the island. We will come back for sure!

100% recommendable. We were in the orange suite, the beds were very large, the kitchen was beautiful, the place in general was very pleasant. If I had to say a con, it is that there is little artificial light, especially in the bathroom, but everything else is very good. Very good breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. They have a play area for children, minigolf, swimming pool... We also went with a dog and everything was perfect.
We will repeat for sure.

pity you see that it used to be a nice hotel! but unfortunately everything torn down today! old children play equipment make the look even more shoddy! it is not understood what it used to be. the operators do not understand how it could be u d destroy everything! already in the parking lot you can see that nobody cares. the restaurant was certainly once nice but even there nobody understands what it could be. the beautiful curtains are carelessly pushed aside. ,tables stand around without arrangement! everything seems plotted

The jury is till out, in all honesty, on this place. I truly don't know how I feel about our stay here. I got the impression that the place was taken over relatively recently and is slowly being done up. There were good points and not so good points. There were hardly any staff, but then again it is a relatively small complex with what I gathered to be nine rooms in total, of various sizes. We stayed in the green room ('Verte'). On entering the room it was very spacious, with high ceilings. It was bright and airy. The complex consists of a small group of what I suspect to have been former farm buildings. The whole place was very rustic, with a contemporary mix, but at times I felt it was all a bit TOO rustic and the contemporary accents weren't of very good quality. They all look good on photo's but on closer inspection much of the stuff was starting to look quite 'tired'.
There were no high quality fittings as such although everything was relatively clean and practical and functional, but no more than that. It's as if they've tried to keep as many of the existing items/fittings but added contemporary pieces to make it more unique.
I was of the opinion (possibly my misunderstanding) that each unit had a fully fitted kitchen, in order for us to self-cater. This wasn't the case. We only had a small fridge (which was full with mini-bar items, therefore not much remaining space to store our own items), a two ring electric hob, a sink and a microwave. There was no dishwasher (as I'd thought) and no oven. There were very basic, well used kitchen items. I felt like everything needed a good scrub! Consequently we ate out most evenings (& not in the restaurant as I thought it appeared quite expensive). There was no tea towel, washing up liquid, dishcloth/scourer etc. so take your own.
I missed having some outside space (such as a terrace/balcony) to sit outside, although it appeared that some units did have these.
Every evening after the first person had had a shower, we ran out of hot water.
The white towels were very tatty and in my opinion needed replacing.
There were no drawers in the room only a hanging area, but only FOUR coat hangers! We asked for some more and an extra ten were brought up to the room.
It mentions that toiletries are provided. We had one very tiny bar of soap, one tiny bottle of 'bubble bath' (but we didn't have a bath in our room, only a shower) and one very small bottle of shampoo ..... So don't rely on these - make sure you take your own.
The plug was a plunger style one, in the bathroom sink, however there was no plunger! We had to remove the plug, otherwise the water wouldn't drain out.
I could be wrong, but I wasn't overly aware of the bed linen being changed during our 9 night stay.
The flat screen (wall mounted) TV only had one English news channel and that was it, other than music channels.
Our building was over the jacuzzi. So underneath our room there appeared to be the machinery that operated it. For most of the time it wasn't switched on but for two nights it was left on all day and throughout the night. It drove us nuts - the droning sound (which sounded to me like a very noisy vacuum cleaner) was a pain!
The things that I did like about the room were the excellent air conditioning unit, the size of the room, the fact that we had nobody above us and that we were away from the noise of the main road.
Which leads me to state that this is not a quiet mountainside retreat, it's literally meters away from a busy main road! We didn't notice the traffic noise in our room, because of how it was situated but you became very conscious of the traffic if spending any time by the pool.
The pool was relative in size to that of the complex, however over half of it is only about a foot deep (for paddling) and only the remainder of it deep enough for swimming. Great if you've got little children, who can't swim, but not if you do want to do any real swimming.
There has been a wall built, separating the pool from the rest of the complex, with a locked door that only guests staying at this property have a key for.
We never had any problems getting a sunbed and you're provided with pool towels too, which was a nice gesture.
The two super kingsized 'day beds' were novel, but because of the sprinkler system (watering the grassed areas) they were very wet in the mornings. I feel it would have been of benefit to the guests to have had them wiped down each morning, but this never happened.
If staying by the pool and eating any wrapped food, there was nowhere to put packaging/wrappers. The first time we did this we put them on the table provided, to find they were then covered in ants. A bin would have come in handy.
Breakfast was ok. It was served between 08.30 - 10.30hrs daily. The tables were set and you went inside to help yourself to cereal, orange juice, yogurt, milk, jam, coffee. While eating this you were then brought a platter of cheese and cold meats, a basket of various types of bread, a small platter of sliced fruit and butter and then asked how you'd like your eggs. We asked for scrambled, with cheese every morning and it was basically an omelette which was nice to have freshly cooked. I must say though that towards the end of the stay it all became very monotonous, which is something that I've very rarely experienced on holiday. There was just no change whatsoever. It was literally the same day in, day out.
Over the weekend they allowed the whole place (apart from the accommodation and the pool) to be hired out. On the Saturday afternoon it was what appeared to be a communion party for a young girl. It was inundated with children running around and being very loud and absolutely nothing was being done to keep the noise down. On the Sunday for the whole afternoon, into early evening the same areas were let out for loads of very young children in the small water park area. This was adjacent to the pool, with only the wall separating the two areas. We suffered hours of screaming kids (albeit squeals of delight) and to have had two consecutive days of noise and commotion was starting to annoy us. I had assumed it was going to be a quiet retreat away from the hustle and bustle of package holiday-makers, to then have to experience this for two days!
You cannot walk to anywhere from this place, although there was a bus stop across the road from the entrance. I would definitely advise a car. There was plenty of parking space.
Would I stay here again? I don't think I would, in all honesty. The situation of it was great for getting out and about and central to Palma and neighboring resorts to the south and the resorts of the Tramuntana Mountains and resorts to the west.
I think I would rather pay just that bit extra and stay somewhere more upmarket, with a higher quality of furnishings/fixtures & fittings and in a more peaceful location. It has also made me want to ensure that I book 'adults only' next time too! But it's a great place for if you do have young children.
Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was something missing, something that I can't quite put my finger on!
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions, if you feel the need. I'll be more than happy to give my honest opinion, particularly having had a previous background in the travel industry.
(P.S. The wifi was 3 Euros per day, but you either had to have it for the WHOLE duration of your stay or not at all. I refused to pay 30 Euros for our ten day stay and their English wasn't ever so good, so they ended up giving me the code for free. It was diabolically slow!! DO NOT pay for it! Demand to be given the code. It frequently drops out and everything takes forever and a day to download. I do not think they should be charging for the use of it)!

The rooms are excellent, well equipped and comfortable .the restaurant food was ,when you got it good ,the menu was very limited and the was the same each night staying more than 2nights would be difficult ,unless you like eating the same food every day.Breakfast was an absolute disaster .3cereals cold meats and cheese various bread and a choice of eggs(boiled scrambled) etc to obtain a pot of tea took ages,The major problem was the absence of staff .the waiter/ess doubled up as receptionist dish washer bar steward room supervisor and all other tasks.only 2 on duty at any given time needless to say meals took hours .the staff did their best and were polite friendly and extremely hard working just NOT enough of them! The facilities for both adults and children are excellent. If we stay again ,unless the menu and staffing haven' t improved we will eat out,it will be less stressful andprobably cheaper! We were also surprised to be charged for the use of wifi

We stayed at Lofthotel Canet for a week in January, and it was absolutely amazing! The rooms (lofts) are spacious, very clean, excellently equipped and beautifully designed. The staff is very friendly, the breakfast really really great and everything was simply perfect.
The pool area is large, the restaurant is pretty.
The lofts are air-conditioned (the AC serves as heating in winter) and there are ginormous flat-screens! Unfortunately, there is no DVD Player, like it says in the description, but there is German and English TV. Generally, I can really recommend the Parc de Canet to all who come to bike, hike and relax! Oh, but please rent a car!

Stayed in Parc de Canet for six nights. Lovely clean rooms and nice terrace.
Staff very friendly and helpful nothing too much trouble especially the lady that served breakfast. This was served in a pretty courtyard outside and a great selection.
The pool area was great and never very busy but no umbrellas or shade and with temperature around 30c really needed something.
Could have done with an information pack saying what facilities were there and things to do in the local area.
A great restful break but probably more suited to families with younger children.

Had a one night stopover here en route to Pollenca. Booked it because we were a large group of 8. We had a double room (Violetta) which was great, ground floor, huge room with separate living and kitchen area and huge bathroom. It also had a really nice seating area out front like a private terrace area. Our other room was on the upper floor in another building (Tangerina) and it was vast. Two bedrooms and one good size bathroom, but the living area was really huge with modern kitchen and sofas/ tv etc. We had two teenage kids and they put one on the chaise in the living room and the other on a z bed in the living area, fine for a night!
Apart from the double room having no water for most of the stay, the rooms were great and the beds comfortable.
The pool is deep and slightly salty. Its surrounded by grass and is in a walled garden, which while pretty is slightly annoying as you must take keys to get in and out of the pool area. Failing to do so meant knocking or shouting to get let back in! Outside the pool is a concrete water play park for kids. IT was never used while we were there and is a bit on an eyesore in my opinion.
The restaurant was very nice, good food (a little pricy and menu same for lunch and dinner, so a bit dull). Breakfast was excellent and nice terrace to sit out in the shade.
The only real gripe we had was that we could rarely find staff. The reception was mostly unmanned and you had to call a bell/ walky talky to get attention. However Anna came along swiftly after that. On check out day there was a long queue to pay as the card machines work only intermittently due to really bad wifi at this hotel. I urge you to pay in cash!
All in all, a lovely stay, relaxed us into our holiday, great for a night if you want something different - and we liked the location a lot, Esporles village is very nice and the Pizzeria (Sa Bodega d'en Rino) in the square is very good!
