The setting of the hotel is great, with great views and good walks around about. The room is OK, nothing fancy. Can't believe the reviews that rave about the food. All we could say about it was it was filling and a reasonable price. We and another couple we met there were having guesses as to what various meals were... More

I was looking for a place to stay in the Cruz de Tejeda area and stopped by to check on the prices. The tenant even helped me looking for prices in a town nearby (San Bartolomé de Tarajana) and actually offered me the breakfast for the next day. This is a good gesture I really appreciated. And I'm still thankful... More

Nice familiar hotel, clean, well located to start or finish a hike. Good food with the vegetables from their garden for a good soup, the breakfast is less tasty. Very nice welcoming from the owner which are very attentive

Great place to stay, very friendly owner with a truly personal service. Great food cooked with home grown herds and local meats. The location is also in the perfect place to travel the interior of the island, which is stunning, will recommend to all the people I know

The hotel and the hosts are very charming. You can see amazing sunsets from here. It is located in the geographical centre of the island and therefor the perfect starting point for hikes and other parts of the island are easy to reach.

This place is good for few nights until you discover the nature around Cruz de Tejeda, it is connected with a great restaurant where the fish was amazing. Room is ok, comfy bed, it has the funniest bath ever but for the purpose it is ok. :) The staff is really friendly and helpful, I forgot hiis name but thank... More

Traditional country hotel right up at the pass at Cruz de Tejeda, a confluence of some of the highest and loveliest walks on Gran Canaria. We had a cosy but spacious room with a heater (needed at 2,500 feet up, even in March). Excellent buffet breakfast and the inexpensive dinner was 3 courses (no menu choices) of delicious home cooking... More

We stayed here for two nights while walking on Gran Canaria. A lovely little hotel in pretty Cruz de Tejeda. We ate one night in the Refugio, everything home made with soup for starter, a choice of chicken or fish for mains and a choice of 4 desserts all washed down with a lovely bottle of red wine chosen by...
