We can't quite remember how we found Malavilla but we are so pleased that we did. we like holidays away from the crowds so always seek out places that are small and preferably farm like. This was perfect. down a quiet road, high on a hill, in the country with great grounds yet 5 minutes to a supermarket and 15...

We (a family of 5, children aged 3, 7 and 9) spent 10 days with Bettina and her son end of June in a family appartment (up to 6 people - did not see it on the website). If you are looking for a very relaxing place away from the tourist crowd, this is the perfect spot. Although we arrived...

Just returned from a week in Bettina's cottage with our 2 boys, 7 and 5. The location is great, down a peaceful lane overlooking a rural valley. really enormous gardens for playing football, cricket, etc with the kids. Plus a table tennis table that was really handy. Although the grounds are shared with Bettina and her family, the way that...

We are a family of 5 (3 kids aged 9, 7 and 5) from Ireland who have just returned from a memorable week based in Casa Malavilla. We flew from Dublin to Comiso, a 40 minute drive away from Santa Croce di Camerina - the closest town to Casa Malavilla. We were welcomed warmly by the owner Bettina and her...

We stayed here at the beginning of July, the second of three four night stays in three very different places. This was our taste of rural Sicily (also stayed in Taormina and Erice) although we spent a fantastic day with our two children (aged 7 and 3) at a beautiful but almost deserted nearby beach (10 min drive) recommended by...

We stayed here in mid-October for 7 nights. On arrival in Palermo, we were greeted by heavy rains, but fortunately the next day the sun emerged and temperatures were, by our standards, pleasantly warm. Casa Malavilla stands atop a hill and from the beautifully landscaped gardens stocked with interesting trees and shrubs, you can see right across to the sea....

Last March, we stayed in the cottage at Malaviila House. This agriturismo is in a great location for visiting the baroque towns of Modica, Ragusa and Noto, as well as exploring the beaches and towns along the southeast coast of Sicily. Malavilla House is located just 8km from the sea, with views of the green hills, old stone walls and...
