We wanted to visit the Humber Bridge as my husbands brother designed the towers there and we had never seen it, shame on us. My husband found a deal on Wowcher for a two night stay at the Loco. The manager had only been there for a week but was very friendly and helpful. Our room, although a bit small,... More

As said before rooms are small but clean and tidy. Plenty of tea and coffee, but no soap in shows food. I was a bit surprised to have to pay for breakfast, normally if I book a room over night it is b&b. Sill at £6 for a full English it is not bad. As was said earlier the food... More

Stayed for two nights. Small room but clean and tidy. Great people. Warm and friendly welcome. Meal was taken at duke William a couple of minutes up the road. Lovely food and you get a massive plate full. When pub closed you had a separate door to leave and enter etc. Rooms cleaned each day. Locals talked to you too... More

although the rooms have recently been re furbished they still need a bit of work to up date. Bathroom floor very squeaky and loud. Room tiny and bed against the wall. Taking all this in to account you get what you pay for. They are not a 5* establishment with a 5* price. Rooms clean and tidy. I personally could... More

1 night stay on voucher scheme. Room was modern, clean and tidy. Large on suite bathroom, TV, tea/coffee facilities. Air conditioning in each room is great. Bar was very friendly downstairs and food was served in another pub next door. Good value carvery and also had very good full english breakfast next morning for £6. Would definately return again.

Food sublime. House wine pleasant. And Dino from Epworth back on the scene. Perfect! Certainly will make this my new Italian local. Highly recommend new Zealand muscles and garlic mushrooms for starters

Just had a great 1 night stay at the Loco. I was visiting a good friend who lives in Haxey. My boyfriend is a wheelchair user and she booked us into this place. Really nice and friendly pub. We had Room 2. It has a disabled bathroom and plenty of access. All hotel rooms are upstairs and they have a... More

We spent 2 nights here courtesy of a discount voucher. We had a pleasant room and had asked for a quiet room but were at the front overlooking the road. Whilst not terribly busy but we are aware of external noise that's why we always ask for quieter rooms. The room had A/C which was essential during the hot spell... More

Small room but big enough for 2nights. Not cleaned very well. Found somebody's medication on the floor and an empty loo role had rolled just under the bed. Taps quite close to the edge of the sink to wash hands properly. Shower head and kettle needed a clean from limescale. Blinds were broken and papercliped back on. Potential to be... More
