First rate roast lunches from the Carvery served up by a team of delightful young wait staff. Excellent value with an old-fashioned, family vibe. I have now eaten there three times and not been disappointed once. Starters and desserts are available but I can only manage a main! Hint for those with a smaller appetite, ask for a small, round... We recently attended the 50th birthday of a close friend.. Happy Birthday Alison. As the journey home was three hours we booked into The Loco Haxey. They also own the Duke William Pub which is in the High Street, Haxey. Having walked around Haxey we popped into The Duke William to see what was on offer for an early dinner.... More

Stayed here overnight after a meal in the restaurant with my family. The food was virtually the same as other places, nothing special but was nice especially the Raspberry Roulade. The room was very basic, as someone has said in an earlier post they need some minor touches like a hairdryer, toiletries, a proper toilet roll holder(having it on the... More

The stay over was 2 rooms in a court yard setting ( Motel Type Rooms) nothing... More

I took my parents for a meal and the food was lovely. They serve 3 course lunchtime specials during the week and my parents were impressed with the quality of food and the value for money. The food is all home cooked. I have visited during the evening with friends and would highly recommend the carvery served on Tuesday and... More

Booked two rooms here while visiting friends in the area. Clearly there has been some upgrading recently because, with the exception of the carpets which have seen better days, the rooms were quite nice, if a little basic. A wall mounted tv is a nice touch, and lighting controlled from the bed was convenient. The bathrooms are particularly good with... More
